Bomber is pooing his pants and will find room in the salary cap to pay him close to what the gold coast are offering. The rest of the players will take pay cuts because they want him to stay too..

I’m a newbie here, but I’ll give my opinion. I reckon he’ll leave, he’s accomplished everything he can down at Geelong and with Selwood being the heir of captaincy (I believe so, anyway), then I think Gazza may just leave for GC.
Of course Geelong will do anything to get him to stay, but with the quality of midfielders they have I don’t think it’ll hurt them too much.

Well if you’re Geelong you’re already eyeing off either Pick 1 or 2 (or both) in next years National Draft.
Would he be captain in everyone’s SC side if he were to play for GC?

Brods
GC17 have the ability to sign one uncontracted player from each team with no compensation as I understand it. Certainly none of the priority picks (13579111315) have to be relinquished for this.
I’m shi__ing myself if it comes out that he’s signed as he’s my capain lock.

Bombers body language says it all, hes sick of hearing it, because its not the outcome he wanted. Ablett to GC….Should be an interesting 2011 season.
