Retirees: Sam Gibson and Curtly Hampton

Adelaide has let go of two father-son selections, with Ben Jarman and Jackson Edwards among three delistings. Harry Dear was also cut.

Retirees: Cian Hanley

Delisted: Jake Barrett, Claye Beams, Tom Bell, Rohan Bewick, Liam Dawson, Marco Paprone

Aaron Mullett has lasted just one season at Carlton with the former Kangaroo one of four Blues delisted on Thursday. Cameron O’Shea and rookie-listed duo Matthew Shaw and Jesse Glass-McCasker were also cut.



Jackson Merrett has been cut by Essendon following news that the club would not offer a deal to star veteran Brendon Goddard for next year either.  Josh Green has also been cut.

Retirees: Michael Johnson, Danyle Pearce and Lee Spurr


Stewart Crameri headlines a list of six players officially delisted by Geelong on Tuesday. Aaron Black, Ryan Gardner, Cory Gregson, Matthew Hayball and Timm House were also told they would not be getting contracts next year.

Michael Barlow has been delisted by Gold Coast, taking to twitter to confirm the news. Gold Coast later confirmed Barlow had been delisted, along with rookies Max Spencer, Mackenzie Willis, Michael Rischitelli   and Josh Jaska.

Billy Hartung‘s AFL career hangs in the balance for the second straight year, with North Melbourne cutting ties with the 76-game speedster. The former Hawk headlined the Kangaroos’ first round of delistings, which included Josh Williams, Mitch Hibberd, Daniel Nielson and rookie-listed trio Tom Jeffries, Oscar Junker and Gordon Narrier.

Retirees: Lindsay Thomas

The career of former No.4 overall draft pick Jimmy Toumpas is at the crossroads after he was delisted by Port Adelaide on Tuesday. The Power have also decided not to offer a contract to Ugandan-born defender Emmanuel Irra for next season.

Former No.10 draft pick Nathan Freeman has been delisted by St Kilda after just two AFL games alongside untried Irishman Ray Connellan. Sam Gilbert, Hugh Goddard, Darren Minchington, & Nathan Wright  have also been shown the door. 

Retirees: Kurt Tippett

Sydney defender Alex Johnson wants to continue his AFL career and has rejected an off-field role with the club after being delisted by the Swans.

Retirees: Eric Mackenzie

Retirees: Shane Biggs and Clay Smith

The Western Bulldogs have delisted defender Kieran Collins and rookie Nathan Mullenger-McHugh.

  1. Disgraceful by Saints…..clearly gave Freeman late season games to fatten him up for the trade period. Who do they think they are…SC players ??
