  1. AN ANKLE injury has ruled Adelaide defender Daniel Talia out of Sunday’s JLT Community Series clash with Fremantle at Strathalbyn Oval.

Darcy Fogarty – the No.12 overall pick at the 2017 NAB AFL Draft – replaces Talia in the Crows’ 26-man squad.

  2. Early note: Harry Dear 123k def/fwd finding a lot of action early and kicked the first goal of the game.
    Keep watch

  3. Crouch 13 in the first quarter, showing why he is on my side.

Fyfe playing as a lead up forward, wonder how that will effect his score in the long run, time will tell. Has looked well though.

Brayshaw looking the goods early on too, a definite in every side.

    1. Have to remember that sloane and Brad Crouch is missing as they will surely effect that.

Fyfe spent most of the 2nd in the midfield which is a positive

Brayshaw went fairly quiet that quarter after a solid 1st which is concerning

But remember don’t judge all on a couple of quarters

    2. Matt showed last year he can do it with everyone in the side. Sloane will get tagged again and that will keep Matt free to do what he does best, rack up touches.

Yeah I seen Fyfe playing in the mid after I said that lol. Good to see him there.

Ended with 14 touched and 6 tackles, pretty good first game in my books, even if it is a pretty season match.

      1. He showed how he can get the ball but his efficiency was definitely off today and had a 2:1 handball ratio so it shouldnt be too hard to increase that scoring with a larger ground.

Brayshaw definitely picked it up in the 2nd half and finished with some decent efficiency. Had to play on crouch which showed he could hold his own. Now we have to wait and see if he can back it up

        1. Definitely abit of rust but to be expected. Very similar mold to Mitchell, collects handballs with ease under pressure.

Here’s hoping he can, in terms of starting rookies it may be slim picking come round 1..

    1. Banfield and Brayshaw both impressive with limited game time.
Anyone who doesn’t have Fyfe and Laird by now isn’t doing it right.

  8. Good game to watch that with some lesser known rookies impressing.
    Banfield – 96 points with 39% tog
Brayshaw showing his capabilities, played on crouch for a fair part of the game and came off with 86 from 66% tog
Doedee showing why he is a lock if named.
Murphy kicked 3 2nd half goals and is a basement price defender
Dear faded away during the game but might pop up as a downgrade target.

    1. Hard to tell as Jacobs shared his ruck duties with O’brien and Jacobs only played 52% tog. They ended up with 17 and 18 HO’s and a lot came in the final quarter where Sandi spent that whole quarter on the bench resting up and still had 28 HO’s.

I think Jacobs score got a boost from the last few goals of the game but it may mean he is more efficient with his taps. Also lacking key mids it is hard to truly tell the outcome. Need to wait for the 2nd JLT game
