  2. Big concern for anyone thinking of fielding Luke Mcdonald (def/mid 460k)
Spent most of the first half sitting at half forward and completed the first half with 2k 1hb all cp
    1 tackle
    1 clearance
    1 inside50
Also little sighting of A. Morgan (similar stats to above)

    1. Again with Mcdonald, a very quiet 3rd quarter with only 1 possession and it was a set shot at goal that went out on the full because the wind took it.
Final quarter was an improvement with 5 more possies most contested. Started the 4th quarter on the wing but after 5-10 minutes he was back in the forward line.
Finished with 9 possies, 4k 5hb 7cp. Unless he has a blinder in the next JLT I’d put a line through him as I’m removing him from mine for sure

  3. Fritsch is looking very solid kicked 3 goals and has given a few off. Good contested marking all he needs is to break through into the 22.
I feel he might end up being a downgrade target as it might hard to break into that team at the start of the season

  4. My early thoughts were:

    – Gawn looks in amazing shape.
    – LDU is solid
    – Fritsch could be handy as a 21 year old
    – Hibberd looks fit.
    – I’m not sold on Petracca and McDonald yet.

    1. Love your work, Hutta! Looks like it’s back to the drawing board with Luke McDonald……was rather bullish on him till now

  6. Hibberd no longer a POD, Gawn looks in ripping form, LDU slowly working his way out, Hogan on the watch list and Petracca looking ok.

  7. Was out today and couldn’t follow the game. Looks like North were in it for the first half before Melbourne pulled away.

What role did Jacobs play? Tagger, run with or mid?

Also, anyone hear why Balic and Ahern didn’t play? Big set back for my fwd line if they’re not fit and firing round 1.

    1. I think Jacobs was tagging Oliver, not 100% sure on that as i wast focusing on him. He also only had about 60% tog

Not sure why they were left out though. Some North players had to wait until half time to play

    2. Jacobs was tagging Oliver and kept him quiet til he went off. Will appear in my rookie review as he just comes in under the cutoff price.

  8. Melksham and Neal Bullet? Any comments from those who saw the match, as far as role and performance? They could both be serious breakout contenders and Melksham was fantastic in AFLX earlier.
