  2. Billings at f4.
Tu, yep, he’ll be fine for f7 worst case.
Td, get him out now before its to late.

    1. just a quick question, how does your team allow a 400k player at m6. im struggling to find money everywhere.

    1. IMO
Brodie Smith will average 15-20 more points than a rookie in defence. A premium forward (besides danger) will not average 15-20 more than Billings. You might make some faster cash with a rookie defender, but could cost you points early. Unsure why this is so one sided.

      1. Agree, Smith and Billings are solid D/F4s. There aren’t even that many good premium forwards and rookie defenders

        3

        0
  3. Will at least 2 of Scrimshaw, Clark, Duursma and Hore play enough games to make reasonable cash?
    TU: yes
    TD: no

    1. More the point will more than 2 rookies Play enough to make cash. Have to hold on final structure till teams are named just make sure there all watch listed in order of most likely job security then points.

  4. T/U Gawn and Grundy + midfield rookie.
T/D Goldstein and Witts + Coniglio

Grundy and Gawn have rd 13 bye. Goldstein and Witts have rd 14 bye.
    Savings of $371,400 at commencement.
Grundy/Gawn averaging 120, Goldstein and Witts averaging 100 and 90 results in a total loss of 410 points following round 13. Should be offset by Coniglio going 30-40 points more than extra rookie on field.

Projected cash price difference between both pairs on above averages at rd 14 reduced from starting amount $371400 to $236,000.

Downside being 2 trades to fix round 14, finding $236000, no loophole for vice-captaining and taking a punt on both ruckmen averaging only 120. Plus cash for corrective trade should one of Goldstein/Witts goes down early.

Staring with 11 premiums excluding Goldstein with Walsh at M6.

  5. Darcy Moore
T/U – Will average 65-80 and be a great pick at basically rookie price
T/D – Will average below 65, I should save the money (to spend elsewhere) and get a cheap rookie

  6. Settled 90% of my team but still struggling with these:

    TU – D1 Lloyd, D5 Collins, F4 DMoore + 35K kitty
    TD – D1 Laird, D5 Scrimshaw, F4 Greene + 10K kitty

    9

    4
  7. T/U Libba and Walsh

    T/D Greene and rookie

First option has Setterfield as F4, second option has Setterfield as M6.

  8. I’m thinking Whitfield, Z. Williams, B. Smith, [D4], Collins, J. Clark

Ideally D4 would be Roberton. But assuming concerns remain about his health, would you go:

    TU: Moore ($239k)
    TD: Ridley ($233k)

    11

    3
  9. T/U – Whitfield (D1), Mills (D2) and B Smith (D4)
    OR
    T/D – Lloyd/Laird (D1) Whitfield (D2) Scrimshaw (D4)

D5 and D6 are rookies in both cases, Z. Williams D3.

  10. Was think about selecting Elliot Yeo this year. However, I am concerned about Dom Sheed’s impact on his scoring. Looking in to this, I noticed that Elliot Yeo’s two lowest scores (27 & 70) last season coincided with Dom Sheed’s two highest scores of the regular season (115 & 90) in Rounds 3 and 11. With Dom Sheed set to get more midfield minutes in 2019 am I….

TU: Reading into this too much
TD: Better off not considering Yeo

  11. Thought I should look at my team over the bye rounds – my current structure means R13 will be a write off, as far as premiums go. So, if I’m looking to improve that a little, I could go Fyfe instead of Oliver, and replace J Lloyd with maybe Whitfield?

TU- Fyfe instead of Oliver, and swap out Lloyd
TD – Don’t stress the byes yet – lots can happen between R1-11

    1

    12
  12. If both were viable options, what kind of ruck cover would you prefer?

    TU: A playing R3, whose job-security may be less-than-perfect.
TD: A RUC/FWD in the forward-line, who might average decent but slightly less-than-premium numbers (e.g. 80-85).

    1

    6
    1. You could go westhoff in fwd with bines r3. If one of your rucks carks it you can rotate westhoff in to cover.

  13. Let’s see if we can split this poll unlike my earlier one today.

    T/U Laird and Darling

    T/D Whitfield and Tim Kelly

  14. I have a big problem with the round 14 bye so what do you think of this

    Out – Coniglio and Greene
    In – Fyfe and Liberatore

I initially went Coniglio over Fyfe because I think he will play more games and if Greene goes then Setterfield is my F4 but Libba replaces a rookie in the mids.

  16. J.Steele

    T/U – YES
    T/D – NO

    current midfield looks like this:

    Macrae, Cripps, Coniglio, M Crouch
    Steele, Walsh, Butters, Constable
    (Scott, Atkins, Gibbons)

    Need help.
    cheers

  17. Pearce Hanley…

T/U – $296k for a former premium, snap him up
T/D – are you crazy? barely played a game in 2 years, steer clear

  18. While Westhoff is priced at his peak, I’m still tempted to buy him in at F2 to allow for coverage for an injury in my rucks if needed (by rotating him in for basement priced DPP Schlensog).

TU: Pay overs for Westhoff but have the additional flexibility
TD: Spend the money on better value elsewhere but lose the flexibility

  19. TU brayshaw M5 & Greene F4

    TD libba M6 & TKelly F3

Current line up without the above in them:

    Danger heeney darling setterfield Burgess

  20. Hey guys,

T/U- We’ll be lucky to have 22 on the field.
T/D- We’ll do it easy and have an E on 3 lines.

    Thanks.

  21. Thanks for your opinions coaches

    T/U Neale
    T/D Dusty + 44k

Neale expensive but reliable and consistent. Can get him later.
Dusty underpriced, can go big with the occasional stinker. Start him or forget him.

    So many possible combinations 🙂

  22. Seen him included in a few teams, looked back at his JLT scores and now that he’s been touted by Ben, I’ve got consider him: Darcy Moore at F4.

T.U: Yep, can expect a few decent scores and some cash generation at the very least.
T.D: Nah, not worth the extra cash- just stick with a rookie.

    9

    5
  23. T/U: Harris Andrews, Rory Sloane, Sam Collins & 17K in Bank
    or…
T/D: Tim Kelly, Lachie Whitfield, Zac Butters & 4K in Bank

  24. And another one…
T/U: Harris Andrews, Darcy Moore in FWD line w/ 30K in bank
    or…
T/D: Tim Kelly, Darcy Moore in DEF line w/ 4K in bank

    13
  26. D1

    T/U – Lloyd

    other premium defenders are:
    Whitfield & Williams.

or COMMENT for – Lloyd, Laird, Williams

      1. They shouldn’t be based on JLT. Against Hawthorn he was killing it then sat out almost the whole last quarter and his score got scaled down big time. Same as Worpel. I’m just not choosing him because I prefer M Crouch and Cripps same bye week

        2

    1. Oliver a must have to me. So maybe replace one of your already uber premiums with oliver, and then reassess the question

  27. M5

    TU: brayshaw

    TD: BCrouch

I expect brad to avg 105 n brayshaw 105-110 with viney in the midfield.

  28. TU: Take a break until Thursday and have have a fresh look.
TD: Continue to over-analyse and go insane.

    1. Posed the same question a few days ago, Zoomer. Currently stands at 12 for Steele and 33 for Brayshaw. Think I’ll be starting Steele though, slightly cheaper and one less premo who doesn’t have that dreaded R13 bye.

      2

  29. And should we be starting Fyfe and Kelly, both have that injury cloud over them but are apparently set to play R1.

T.U: Yes, they’ll be fine. The risk is offset by their huge scoring capacity.
T.D: No way, you’d rather a MID with a slightly lower ceiling who you can rely on to not miss a match.

  30. Hello everyone,
Would really appreciate help – this below is only what’s giving me sleepless nights:

    T/U: Whitfield (D1) , B. Crouch (M6) T.Green (F3)
    T/D: Lloyd (D1) , Walsh (M6) & J.Dunkley (F3)

    Thanks very much!!

      Good luck with that one.
Toss a coin, and pray to Murphy, you’ve got 2 weeks to reassess.

  31. Williams plays half a game, then disappears and hasn’t been spoken about by GWS since.

    Tu suspicious
Td nah he’s fine, take ‘im instead of Mills
