  1. T/u Gawn
    T/d Grundy.

Comment…neither, they will fall and that means I can get the likes of a Macra or Fyfe to start. Net cost will be one extra trade required.

  2. Also struggling with my F3 spot, as its been a toss up between Mundy and Tim Kelly. I feel if Mundy plays consistent mid he will have an increase in his average all though, is he too old. With Tim Kelly he is a bit inconsistent but has a higher ceiling only concern is if I select him, all my premium forwards have the same bye
    TU: Mundy
    TD: Kelly

  3. is Darcy Moore worth the risk?

    T/U – D.Moore @ D4 (with Lloyd@D1, Williams@D2, B.Smith@D3)

T/D – Scrimshaw (don’t risk it, just take an extra rookie)

    Cheers

  4. Need to find about $30k:

T/U – fyfe down to coniglio
T/D – Darcy Moore down to Hately (GWS), by moving setterfield to fwd line

    Cheers!

  5. Don’t have Walsh and have Smith at D3 is Walsh worth it

    T/U Hurn D2 and Walsh M6

    T/D B Smith D3 and B Crouch M6

    1. I woudlve thought the second option would be better

Smith will average at most i reckon 15 points less then Hurn
And B crouch will average i reckon more then 15 points then Walsh

      1. I think points wise it’s close, but the second option might not get you a keeper while the first one probably will. In saying that, I think Brad Crouch is underrated and will average ~105 this season – main concern being injury. Personally I think option 1 and 2 are 50/50 and would trust your gut, or whichever’s better for your bye structure

  6. Have a structure dilemma resting on my love with Brad Crouch

    T/U: BCrouch at M5 + Moore
T/D: Any premo F3 (probably TKelly)+ Mid rookie

    6

    12
  7. Fyfe has been taking steps to improve durability and will play 20+ games T/U

He’s Fyfe and will play under 18 T/D

  8. Battle of the >$ Burn men.

I have Moore to swing so..

I don’t really what either, But if you had to go 1

    T/U Smith at D4

    T/D Greene at D4

    Thanks 🙂

  9. Might be final team nerves, but was thinking of following as F3 and F4….

    T/U: Kelly + Moore
    T/D: Worpel + Greene

    Thanks guys

  10. What are people’s thoughts on Dusty this year? TU will bounce back and average 110+ TD will have another average year

    11

    10
  11. TU
    Lloyd + Crisp/Hurn.

    TD
    Laird + Whitfield.

    COMMENT CRISP OR HURN !

THANKS. DOING MY HEAD IN =] haha

    10

    9
  12. Jimmy Webster worth considering?
    T/U – Yes sir.
    T/D – Don’t be an idiot

Ave 100+ for first half of year before the Gold Coast game (injury? Was a 13). Poor JLT but without roberton, perhaps might do well? Didn’t catch any saints in jlt . No idea really.

    1. You may be onto something. I think you can afford to wait tho’ and watch to see if anything materialises. I’m hoping he gets Roberton’s role and he may even get pushed up on a wing.
Too big a risk to start tho’!

  13. Jack Higgins an U/18s avg 144 smashing rockliffs. Will dimma let him run through the midfield to breakout in 2019? He looked to through JLT for long stints

Yes pick him as a nice POD

    No lock in Greene

    4

    8
  14. T/U- Mills & Cousins
    T/D- Collins & B Crouch

Thought is Mills has the potential to be a season keeper, where as B Crouch more then likely will need to be traded at some stage.

    5

    3
  15. TU: Brodie Smith
    TD: Toby Greene

…though I think the better rookie probably makes this selection easier

    9

    6
  16. Which M1-M5 looks better

TU – Macrae, Cripps, Martin, Brayshaw, Liberatore
TD – Cripps, Oliver, Coniglio, Martin, Brayshaw

  17. So I need to fit 1 mid pricer into my team, but can’t decide on who. B.Smith in defence or Libba in the midfield.

    my two options are:

    T/U – Laird, Libba
    T/D – B.Smith, Neale

I’m leaning towards Smith & Neale but need to be sure.

Vote on the thumbs to help me out, or comment any other ideas.

    Cheers

    9
  18. If going for Leagues regarding mid pricers

TU pure gNR with just williams
TD lack of rookies so go with williams, plus another 2-3 mid pricers (maybe b smith, greene, libba ect)

    thanks

  19. Not sure which way to go community ….. advice?

TU: Liberatore M5, (Leaves Moore at F4)
TD: Billings F4, (Leaves Walsh at M6)

Comment – both with a bit of a re-jig. ( Have considered Green over Billings but think Billings has more to offer long term)

    Thank!

  20. What’s everyones thoughts on Jordan Ridley??

T/U – Great option for D4, should have a good year and average 65+
T/D – Too expensive, job security isn’t rock solid and you’re better off going with one of the cheaper rookies.

    4

    6
  21. T/U – Macrae & Parker / Drew or
    T/D – M Crouch & Greene – if it plays Greene at F4 & Moore at F5

    1

    7
  22. Wayne Milera, DEF, $433,100. Averaged 90-something post-bye last year. JLT form seems to suggest that will continue. Thoughts?

    TU: I like it.
    TD: Too risky.

    5

    6
  23. Jeremy Howe, DEF, $497,200. Has averaged 90+ for the last three years. I am thinking about him as an inexpensive, reliable way to fill a backline spot. He’s got my attention because a) there are suddenly big question marks over Whitfield’s role, b) I already have Lloyd and Laird, and c) I could really use the cash elsewhere. Thoughts?

    TU: Good pick.
    TD: Look elsewhere.

    4

    9
    1. If you have Lloyd and laird where else have you ‘sacrificed’? Not playing both gun rucks? Less I mids and playing mid pricers in Libba and b crouch etc or?? Do tell!

      1

      1. No Gawn or Grundy (relax, I have a plan), only four premium mids (I’m keen to get Liberatore in there to beef it up a little).

        0
  24. Luke Ryan, DEF, $489,900. Averaged 90 last year, and could benefit from the new kick-in rules. I remember some people being frustrated by his up-and-down scoring last year, but as I’m going for overall rather than leagues, that doesn’t really concern me. With that in mind…

    TU: Good pick.
    TD: Look elsewhere.

    1. He is a good POD and another year older too !! I don’t have him but I like the pick for those who do.

    2. Hmmm…. a lot more thumbs down for both Ryan and Howe than I would have thought. Is there something I’m missing? They seem like safe picks to me.

  25. Whitfield chat got me worried.

    T/U – Whitfield / A Brayshaw / Conigs
    T/D – Lloyd / Oliver / B Crouch

    4

    6
  26. Risk v Reward?

Do you feel like B Crouch / T Green / B Smith is too much risk for 1 team?

    T/U – Yes
    T/D – No

  27. Morning brains trust!

My only concern is my M6.
    I want a value selection.

    T/u – B.Crouch
    T/d – D.Sheed

    Comment: Rocky (‘shudders’)

    1. I went BCrouch like everyone else Buncha but I would go neither at M6 to be honest. Another line must be thin if you have $400k to spend here at M6. If you want one of these two then M5 for me, drop your current M5 and splash the cash elsewhere !!

  28. TU: LLOYD, Hurn, Williams, Smith, Clark, Duursma (BURGESS, Hore)

  29. This is doing my head in… All Saints I need you

    Williams and Fyfe T/U

    Brodie Smith and Macrae T/D

Comment: Williams, Macrae but no Darcy Moore.

  30. TU
    whitfield and rookie

    TD
Greene, Williams ( means ill have greene williams and conglio)

(whitfield proven player, williams we’re all hoping?

    4
  31. TU: T. Goldstein and T. Liberatore. (with $25,200 left)

TD: M. Gawn and C. Constable (with $57,600 left)

  32. Seriously considering starting Franklin if named. Massive pod. If he gets injured I can downgrade to whomever that elusive f3 ends up being.
    TU, nice plan.
TD, just join the f3 lottery like everyone else.

    1

    10
  33. TU – Whitfield & Scrimshaw (if he plays)

    TD – Mills & Moore

Currently Lloyd, Whitfield, Williams, Scrimshaw, etc
