How’d you survive the last 3 bye weeks? Did your strategy pay off or were you left wondering what went wrong?

  1. An average of 1727 over these three weeks, a lot of underperforming lads this week, especially Michael Johnson who was on debut for me.

I’m just happy we don’t have to go through these 3 weeks again.

  2. It looks like I won all five leagues with 1662. Not many good scores around.

Goodbye bye. Glad to see the back of you. Take your pathetic friends the green and red vests with you.

  7. I don’t care about my SuperCoach score this week as my boys played brilliantly to beat Adelaide. Go North!!!!!!!

  9. 1616/Swanny….3 donuts & star studded bench worth nearlly $4 million

5/5 league wins this round making that 15/15 over the 3 bye rounds, also came in over 10,200 spots on the overall ladder in the 1st 2 bye weeks!

5297 points over the 3 bye rounds at an average of 1765.66 per week

  10. 1568 for me this week.
    4 donuts + Gibson’s 9, Clarke’s 18, Shaw’s 39 & Crozier’s 40.
Strangely looks to be a touch above average as it was the 4th best score in LoEC1 (unluckily for me I came up against the top scorer!)
Disappointed with some senior players in Clarke, Harvey, Priddis, Broughton(Ross Lyon).
Hindsight says I should’ve traded Giles this week as opposed to next as it looks as if he’ll drop a decent amount in value with his 54 today.

Was 4/4 coming into Sunday with the tipping taking it to 12 consecutive correct tips, but went with GWS and Adelaide today 🙁

  11. Hey Motts, nothing to do with supercoach, but do you reckon you could get a poll going for the top 8. Just because it is so close this year, I think it would be interesting to see what people think! Not positions or anything, just the top 8 in general…

P.S. Don’t worry if you can’t, I know you don’t give out your polls easily 😉

  12. 1037/Boyd (9 donuts + Gibson)

Won my cash league game. Traded in Zorko, Cloke and Gibson. 2 out of 3 aint bad. That’s about it really.

    Byes from hell begone!

  13. 1664/Swan/3 doughies and a 9 from Gibson, 18 from Clarke (goodbye Clarke hello Carrots) 55 from Porps (Goodbye Porps hello tree stump)

All I can say is thank F#@K the byes are over, thank you North for beating the Crows (but screwing my multi) leaving my beloved Bombers in 3rd spot on the ladder and thank you very much to all those who decided on “throwing” round 3 to allow me to take 5/5 league wins with such a piss poor score.

  14. 1487/Swan/4 donuts

Still managed 4 from 5 wins with a score under 1500. It just aint Supercoach! Luckily beat The Hairy Cat in the end thanks to a slow starting Scott Thompson and huge finish from Sam Shaw 🙄 .

Big shout out to Team Dane/Dayne – Swanny as Captain on debut, Beams keeps on flying and I’m still happily doing the Zorko. Also have to mention Jobe – The Year of The Fish and Essendon would be nowhere near the same teams without him.

Or are we pushing our luck coming to the back half of the season?

  18. Just looking through the rankings. I think I’ll be barracking for the team currently cumming 7th. Look it up and imagine the celebration if they win 🙂

  19. looking at projections, goodes could get down to 445 in 2 weeks! still holding onto cameron at the moment too. straight swap between those two could potentially help, will be keeping a close eye on goodes though, looked ordinary on friday.

  20. 1550. Looks like that was enough to put me in top group, raised me from 18000 to 14000. And now I’ve been estimated at 2500 per round on the way home. All prem now except have to pick Darley or Shaw on the track as my D7 as almost out of trades.

  21. Carnage is over.

Lost all 3 league matches to be 3/9 over the bye rounds.

    Scored 1318/Dangerfield/6 Doughnuts.

Will save my 8 trades for juicy morsels like Goodes, Carrazzo.

Last of all, SO LONG, BYE ROUND NUISANCES AND HELLO GARY ABLETT!

  22. Could just wait for the trade talk topic but looking at what i can do with this team now.. Got 369k spare already. Looking to go shiel to ablett and dahlhaus to patton. Firstly because dahlhaus is awful and was the worst pickup ever, but also it gives me more than enough to move bugg to carrazzo next week as well as tons of spare cash (160-170k or so depending on andys drop this week) to do one more upgrade from one of my remaining depth players to a super premium (eg cameron to beams or danger, or smedts/pfieffer/sam shaw to someone a little cheaper such as christenson or goodes) somewhere down the road. Sounnnnddddsss good? How about if i tell you completing all of that leaves me with just 1 trade for injuries? (5 left atm)

Lids, Goddard, Birchall, Johnson, Mackie, Lake, S.Shaw, Darley, Wrigley
Ablett, Swan, Watson, J.Selwood, Mitchell, Priddis, Adams, S.Gibson
    Cox, Giles, Redden, Patterson
Franklin, Sidebottom, Danger, Hale, Bruest, Zorko, Cloke, Hall, Pffifer
What do people think. Have I done enough?
I am 1st in my league, and beating Shane Crawford will be reward enough

  24. For anyone who is interested, the team my ‘brother’ and I made before Rd3 prior to all the price rises happening is coming along quite nicely. (It helped getting all the good rookies on the bubble). Obviously just trading hard, gunning for the $1000 weekly prize.

Deledio, Goddard, Suckling, Birchall, Lake, H.Shaw, Dempsey
    Ellis, Spurr

Ablett, Mitchell, Dal Santo, Pendlebury, Swan, Priddis
    McDonald, Crozier

    Maric, Naitanui
    Redden, Stephenson

Franklin, Chapman, Cloke, Harvey, Martin, J.Riewoldt, O’Keefe
    Zorko, Hall

4 trades left & $145k in the bank prior to any trading action this week.
Obviously going to be very difficult at the selection table each week with Zorko demanding an on-field position.

May upgrade J.Riewoldt > Dangerfield($62k swap) and Dempsey > Carrazzo but other than that I can’t really do much more. Looking forward to finally fielding the full strength team.
