  1. I think/hope Daniel Butler comes in for a very sore Daniel Rioli. Has copped two corked thighs in consecutive weeks and is nursing sore ribs.

Ben Cavarra for the dogs also tweaked his hamstring. So that might slow him down 🙁

  2. Setterfield and Constable both tonned-up (SC) in the VFL last weekend. Let’s hope they both get a recall!!

  3. Thanks Sainter.

Amazing amount of work you put into this.

    I find it an invaluable.

    Just a little thought….

Stocker was pretty ordinary on debut. How was his form leading up to selection?

I’m really hoping he can show some improvement this week.

We all had him earmarked as an early rookie, I’m hoping he can live up to the hype, and become a viable down grade next week.

Nice to see Hind finding some form. You would think with he would get a run soon.

Looking over those names again, it still seems there’s a lot more Midfield Rookies likely to get games soon, than Forward or Defensive ones.

This gives me even more reason to get in Answerth and Corbett this week.

I actually hope Hatley isn’t named as that that will make my decision even harder.

As to you comments about maybe loosing pace with the leaders by doubling down. I wouldn’t be worried. All the folks in the top 1% at this stage of the season have a fair idea what they are doing. 90% of them will be doubling down ,if enough rookies are named on the Bubble this week.

How many times have you heard a coach say ” We aren’t too worried about what the opposition are going to do. We are more concerned with playing our own brand of footy.”

Back yourself, and “Play you own brand” allsaints.

    You’ve got this .. 🙂

    1. Ta mate. Definitely one downgrade as Petruccelle has to go this week (can pick any line with DPP options) but am happy with the rest for now. Am thinking Answerth (via DMoore) as that should improve my onfield scoring on both DEF and especially FWD lines.
Will likely go Libba to Fyfe. I miss having him in my side. Same bye and think he’s gonna kill it this year!

Stocker played 3 VFL games pre-call up and ave’d 17 disps (12 kicks), 2 marks, 1 tackle, 1I50 and 7R50s, playing half back flank predominantly.

      1. Thanks for the Stocker stats.

A low tackle count tells me he is more “outside” in his HB role.
I’m not holding out too much hope for his future. Lets hope he can show something.

I’m more about Setters coming back in, We need those cows playing.

Fyfe is life , with a ( double down planned ) he is now my Rocky get out of jail card.

For my sanity ,I only need one of them in my team!

Thanks again for your great contribution.

        Legend 🙂

  4. Patrick Naish is a 123k defender for Richmond.

He must be getting close to a game. (They featured him on the website)

23 disposals, five clearances, eight inside-50s & one goal

    Recap from the reserves coach.
“Played predominantly through the wing and continued his great form. He ended up with 23 disposals, but the pleasing part of it is his 10 contested possessions and he’s just playing great footy. He’s setting us up with inside-50s and clearances.”
