Its not an easy decision given how the regulars have performed in the past against the teams they’re playing this week. So who have you decided to bestow the captaincy upon?

Hodgey has served me well so far avg 127 ppg, so I’ll be clicking a “C” on his name and leaving it there for the remainder of the season, go the Hedge-Hog.

paul,
[please don't take this the wrong way, but there are a few home truths i must explain to you]
my real name is troy; i am the coach of a team called moist biomass, and also the employer of a young 20 year old named leesa. now i have been away for a couple of days, and i have read that you have been ‘investigating’ and accusing her of things you truly know nothing about. i think i should explain.
1. when the season started we filled our league with our usual competitors however, one coach – the coach of the pus nuts, was diagnosed with a very serious health problem. as a result leesa became somewhat of a caretaker coach.
2. being the honourable person she is she kept his team’s name and his name as coach to remind everybody of their unwell friend, whilst changing the Guernsey to something that reflects her personality [we joke at work, calling her squad the new brisbane lions, due to the merger].
now i thought that motts created this site to help people, and for supercoach fans to discuss upcoming matches, players and stats in an environment that was free from accusations.
i suggest that instead of trying to be a super sleuth, trying to crack people’s identities, you help them with supercoach requests – which from what i read you are quite good at.
please remember that if people would want you to know their real names and identities, they would tell you from the start.
thanks very much.
ps if you are wondering why people call me timmy – it is because i resemble timmy from south park.

PA and anyone else interested in this little saga, I have just verified that Leesa is in fact who she says she is and Sir-T is a completely separate person.
Thanks for taking the time to clear this up, Timmy, and I hope it doesn’t stop both you and Leesa dropping past from time to time.

Btw moist biomass scored 2130 in round 4
On April 18, at 7:33pm ” Leesa”
Hi everyone,
I scored 2,317 – even with dismall performances from Rioli, and less than an average performance from O’Keefe.
Then at 7:44pm “Leesa” responding to Mike April 18, 2010 at 7:43 pm
But did you beat your boss?
Leesa April 18, 2010 at 7:44 pm
Hi Mike,
That’s next weeks encounter – I scored 402 points higher than him this weekend though, so I guess the signs are somewhat promising
So that means 2317-402=1915 not 2130, so you are still full of it.

To be truthful the only reason why I looked the side was because there wasn’t a 7th defender she forgot to put one in, so in my way to “Help” her I looked for the side, not all I wasn’t trying anything mean. Just goes to show what kind of people are here.
This will be my last comment, because I’m Over this Bullshit.

I, for one, value your input and involvement in the SCT community. I too, in the past, have been angered enough to remove myself from something I enjoyed to make a point – although, in my case, it was more of a 4-year-old-type tantrum at being left out. I’m not suggesting you have the emotions of a 4-year-old; more, hoping that once you’ve taken a breath, you’ll return to this forum of what is generally healthy debate and discussion. I enjoy your well-considered and thought-provoking comments and look forward to reading whatever follows your name (it’s too hard to read everyone’s comments but I will stop and peruse yours in particular).
I request that you reconsider your previous stance (something that no one asked me to do when I chucked my hissy-fit – boo hoo).

Hey Joey, probably time to hardenup a bit and build a bridge mate – if we all spat the dummy when someone posted bogus scores/info (allegedly or not) there’d be no blog to vent our ramblings. As I’ve stated before on this forum, whilst the TS and FF sites are far more valuable for data, the attraction of this site is the diversity of characters posting. Time to swallow a bit of pride and return to the fore!

Tempted to go Pav against the Tigers, but I think I’ll stick with GAJ for the season (barring injury).

With still no GAJ in my midfield due to the Forward Line Debacle Of Round Five, I’ll go back to Hodgey. He’ll carve it up down there in Hairy Brazil.

Beware the inclusion of Kepler Bradley into the Freo extended bench . . . check the final team tonight. If Kepler is there, Sandi might rotate with him on the bench giving him a chance to rest with reduced TOG in a game they should easily win.

OK, so I presume that you are considering a repeat performance is on the radar. Personally, I don’t know much about Joseph, and am not seeking to malign him, but, GAJ is heavily tagged every game and seems to go alright. I think that Geelong in Rd5 will be a much different proposition than they were in Round19 last year and I expect that GAJ will be contributing a high score.
Motts, are you planning on sticking with GAJ as your skipper?

if i can relay my GAJ story. made him captain for the first 2 rounds and when they came up against freo i gave the captaincy to ROK as he was playing richmond and GAJ was gonna get crowley who has done the job well a few times now. well GAJ chopped with 150 from memory and ROK only got 110 against richmond with basically no one on him.
LESSON: dont go against the GAJ!!

Don’t forget the 3300 rule. Hodge’s SC points in the wet will be proportionately better if you ask me. That’s just a hunch. He’ll tackle like a mad man and still get plenty of it in the wet.

The supercoach point-scoring system takes into account adverse weather conditions, so do not let that deter your choice.
Personally id be considering making the Rain-man Jimmy Bartel captain with rain on Monday predicted. – Be a definate if the game was at Skilled.

need help with trades t/w need to trade kerr? was thinking watson or judd
i have a backline of c.brown,c.tarrant,d.merrett one of which has to sit on bench should i trade one for schmidt? or
i have two dud rookie forwards r.tarrant hasn’t played a game and r.roberts probably won’t get another game should i trade one of these for pods or rock?
HELP ME PLEASE……….

There is a rumour that Brown wont play this week so maybe you don’t want him as captain. You may want to trade at least one of your bench to cover this potential outcome, and Rocky and Pods are two logical replacements. There is a thread on this site that compares those two and that might offer you some assistance.

Browny will play, he’s like the Black Knight.
He’ll play, but won’t kick well outside 50 and won’t exert as much forward pressure. Keep him in your FWD line but give someone else the big C.

I don’t think so dunx. You certainly don’t need the cash so unless you’re struggling for an Emergency. I’d leave it. Keep in mind that J Brown probably won’t play this weekend.
The only reason I traded Waite for Rockliff was to enable me to upgrade Trengove to Gilbee in my midfield.

I think williams for pods is a good trade, but not so sure about gram. He’s having a pretty good year, and he will probably only miss a week or two with the injury. Depends how good your emergencies are, but I’d look to upgrade someone else who is under performing.
