Before The R13 Teams

Written by Duck on June 20 2013

I might just be able to sneak through with 3 wins from the 3 bye rounds (in my preferred league) … not planned like that, just the way it’s worked out.

How many wins are you likely to have after this week, in your main league?

Sorry, there are no polls available at the moment.

I should be going into this week with about 16 scoring players …. 4 more than my opponent, how are you looking this week? Who’s name are you hoping to see with a green dot next to it?

  1. Bartel mostly. Don’t like these rumours. I need all the premos I can get this week.
Also wanting Hrovat and Thurlow to get another guernsey so they can begin fattening up.
Should have 20 on the ground if all these boys line up.

  2. need saunders and thurlow to get named. milney out and rumours of bartel might slightly help even if not in the same position as it is still another spot open.
viney should be coming back by now too shouldnt he?
i have 18 if they all play.. so obviously im not expecting too much this week.

  3. My forward line may be looking a little sick. Word is that JJK and Buddy will play but have the band aid next to them on SC website. Plus Bartel (FWD for me) looks to be rested so I may be struggling this week. Although I’ve a great last 2 rnds

Sitting at Ranking 1020 so not in with a shot at the cash, which means I’ll play this week to set up the rest of my year. May just trade in 3 rookies to sit on the bench (and provide some cover for the injuries) and build the war chest to over $500K so that next week I can upgrade Wingard to Watson or Cotch and upgrade Terlich to Gibbs. With 1 ruck upgrade to go then all Premos (counting as Goodes as a Premo in backline)

Rookies I’m hoping to play are Hrovat in the mids, Burbury/Spangher in the Fwds and Thurlow down back.

Any other thoughts as to rookies I could pick up this week?

Good luck to all to avoid the devastation of Rnd 13!!

  4. 18 if Bartel and Thurlow play, all others likey to be named. 16 and probably a close loss in my league if they both don’t play. Looking ugly this round, be lucky to hit 1800.

  5. 19 if Bartel and Thurlow play. Would expect to see at least 1 of them out there. Have done 3 trades this week to be able to field this many but they were always going to be done this week. Only Goodes and Black still to go for a final team (including JJK and Vlas)
