With news that Daisy Thomas is out, but still no clarification on exactly how long (when is there ever?) Stoney wants to know, keep him or ship him off?

Pittard out for another 2 to 3 weeks. Daisy out for 2 at least. Expecting Gibbs to be subbed off late in his comeback game. Crouch will come back through the SANFL, not straight into the Adelaide team. FMSC.
Gibbs and Maric for me. Gibbs especially so now that Shaw is out suspended.
Actually wouldn’t mind 1-2 of the Portlets not named so that their prices don’t drop before I trade them out next week.

I’m inclined to keep Daisy if it’s just going to be two weeks but I get the feeling it will be more unfortunately. 3 weeks minimum. Ruins all my trade plans this week dammit. Will have to bring Buddy in a week earlier…..
I fear that Daisy maybe longer than 2 weeks, its not a resounding he’ll be back in 2 weeks. Its more of a he’ll be back to full training in a couple of weeks.
“The medical opinion is that if Dale has his training scaled back, the load-bearing work reduced for a couple of weeks, then the ankle should settle and he will be able to resume full training,” Collingwood football director Geoff Walsh said.

OK so here’s what I’m hearing from a pretty good source. Daisy is done for the year. Collingwood has so many outs at the moment that in an effort to “manage supporters’ expectations” they list him as 1-2 which in a couple of weeks turns into 3 more which then becomes “Season”. How angry does that make me? Very. Will I trade Daisy out as a straight swap to Priddis? I reckon I will.
Same source also said that Jack Watts would be playing at Collingwood next year. You heard it here first.
Expect to see Gibbs, Cotchin and Maric all named but that means little in modern footy. It’s all about that final team sheet 90mins before the bounce.
Fingers crossed that Mayes stays in the Lions team. Some of Vossy’s selections (and non-selections) are a little confusing and are starting to remind me of a certain Fremantle coach who’s name i shall not speak.
And i’m really worried that Maric won’t play. If Daw does well as emergency for me tomorrow night i’ll be tracking Dimma Hardwick down on Saturday to convince him that Maric should miss a week. 🙂
And as a North supporter, really hope Swallow and Mullet get up for tomorrow night.
Im keeping Daisy for now got other priorities Buddy this week Joelwood next week then ill address the Daisy situation.
