Either through injury or a poor 2011 these blokes are all fractions of their former prices. Which 3 players do you think represent the best value? If you’re not going to select any of them, which ones come closest to making your team?
Sorry, there are no polls available at the moment.0

J brown Marty Clarke m Barlow
None of these for me in a SC GnR strategy however in my “wife’s” SC team or DT I am considering Vez, Brodie Martin and Tony Armstrong as the midpricers that can go to the next level.
What hapenned to the underperforming 2011 Navy Blues Motts, other than the delisted big Irishman? I would have thought Kruze and Jamo would have been front and centre in this poll. No wonder Juddy’s had his shoulders reconstructed. Never needed that at the Blue and Gold when we delivered him a gratuitious Premiership and Normy! 🙂
Barlow is almost a must if fit as is a magnet. Another one on my radar is bastinac but not sure if he fits strategy at the moment..
Do people realise j mac is 346 yrs old?
He may be cheap but you get what you pay for when it comes to him.
I feel some people choose players like that because there 2 scared to take the risk on a untried rookie, the same people that bring in j mac, will no doubt have izzy falou in there side aswell!
Personally I think theres plenty of better options than some of those fossils that are “cheap” this year.
PS: I voted Lenny
J.Brown and Barlow for me at this early stage.
I had another ‘crazy’ idea last night. If Lobbe is out injured perhaps Renouf becomes a possible option as Ports number one ruckman with and eye to upgrading to Cox/Sandi in Rd11/12?
I still like porplyzia. At 200k-odd he is great value for someone who can average 80ppg
How can you say whether or not you think they are good value if the article doesn’t say what they cost?
Barlow is a lock if fit!
Wilkes is a lock!
Lake is a massive risk but could pay of if you have the guts to pick him
Kobe Stevens.
Hello everyone. When does supercoach start? what’s the exact date? Can’t wait!
“GEELONG’S ruck depth has received a much-needed boost after the return of Nathan Vardy to full running.
Vardy has been restricted since undergoing hip surgery at the end of 2011 but he could be set to return for the start of 2012 according, to Geelong general manager of football Neil Balme.”
This has to be bad news for Big O Stephenson…
Does anyone rate lindsay gilbee (bulldogs) a chance ? lindsay,s age could be a major factor plus injuries , he turns 31 in july, but still worthy of a look in for a cheapie (def) in your team .

Do people think NRoo is over the hill? Can he regain he’s scoring potential and become top 7 forwards in supercoach with new coach and a possible rejuvenation of the club?
Thumbs up yes
Thumbs down no
I have M.Clarke, Barlow, HMac and JBrown in my team at the moment.
On the watch list: Christensen, Lake, Didak, Porp, I.Maric, Callinan. If any of these guys become a lock during pre-season it will have a huge say in deciding my structure.
his name is actually campbell heath. not heath campbell 🙂
Has anyone seen the definitive list of DPP? Heard Burgoyne maybe M/D but cant find any “evidence”
how about majak Daw he is gun with a lot of potential
What does anyone think of callan ward
Any thoughts Callan Ward
like and dislike
who r the best bench players for ruck and middle
any thoughts cam pedersen
Who is the best defender from 350k to 420k. Need advice
Arnold, Kyle, Frank, Mick (or whatever you wanna be called) Majak Daw, as Roo Bloke already said, will prob not play this year and was recently suspended for disciplinary reasons.
If stats are anything to go by then Callan Ward should struggle to have the same impact with the Giants as he did at the dogs. Last year all Suns players that were on an AFL list the year before actually lowered their SC average in 2011. Pass.
Cam Pederson had a decent year last year but isn’t a great choice this year. You’re better off selecting the next Cam Pederson, coz he’ll only cost you about $100,000, or just selecting a proven gun.
Jack Grimes???
Hey guys what about J. harbrow. Could he be a gun this year
