Breaking Even – Rd 12, 2020

Written by Chillo on August 13 2020

For those new to the game, a player’s break-even (or BE) is the score they must achieve in order to maintain their current price tag. The following are the details for most of the popular players (>3% ownership), plus a few other notables. Bookmark and enjoy!

Due to time constraints, I’ve had to abbreviate the BE list this week. If there’s a name not listed here that you’d like to hear about, throw it in the comments and I’ll do my best to accomodate you.

  1. It’s midnight, I’m checking over my team and you already have the breaking evens out. Amazing job, thanks for your hard work Chillo, much appreciated mate.

  2. Is it crazy to think of sideswapping Smith to Steven? Even if just as a stepping stone. Having both Ceglar and Dion is killing my side

    1. Any idea that involves moving on Mr 70ish Devon Smith is not a crazy idea. Just not that SC relevant this season.

    2. There isn’t really enough time left for a stepping stone, is there? Probably better to go for a fallen premo.

  3. spot on mate 6-8 weeks according to crows website
with lynch out for at least 3 also
you’d think the crows would rookie up for the rest of the season
getting as many good draft picks & blooding kids should be their priority now

    1. They’re pretty much locked in for the spoon so playing for draft picks isn’t relevant. But yeah, they need to blood kids for 2021 and beyond.

  4. I currently dont have either L.Neale or Macrea. Not having them has cost me the past 3 weeks with losses (i.e Capt’s). I’m going pull plenty to get one in this week. Who is the better choice based on upcoming opponents /posiible tags? comments?
    TU – Neale
    TD – Macrae

    1. i took neale @ 780k & getting macrae this week @ 699k
      paid top dollar for both
      no regerts
lock & load VC & C taken care of

    2. It’s a crying shame that one of them hasn’t already had their bye, would make the choice a no brainer for those coaches without these 2 guns, so very glad I started with them both.

Lets all pray they don’t end up with the same bye round going forward…..

  5. TU Gawn and Pickett to Neale and Wicks only, save 3rd trade
TD Make 3rd trade trade: Aarts or Simpson to Adams (Both their BEs are only 20 odd, but Adams a good option right now). Vote in comment below as to which to lose
