Breaking Even Rd18

Written by Schwarzwalder on July 15 2019

As per reasons mentioned two weeks ago, Breaking Even is being cut down to size now.  Basically the BEs become less relevant as you should be bringing in players you believe will score the most pts OVER THE LAST SIX WEEKS.

For the Supercoach newbies out there, the Breakeven is the score needed by each player to hold his price.  If they score above that Breakeven value, their $$ value will rise.  If they score below that Breakeven point, they will lose value. If you have any questions about Breakevens on a particular player, don’t hesitate to ask in the Forum and I’m sure our friendly SCT Community will help out.

      1. You need to get your facts right kids
        Traded out danger @ 540
Traded him back in @ 470
Allowed me to get Dunkley @ 514 the next week
Since I traded in danger & dunks
They have been 2 of my best performers with
        Danger averaging 111
        &
        Dunks averaging 128
        since I got em
Short sighted ppl might say trading danger out originally was a bad idea
But I’m pretty happy with it

            1. Wish I had Marshall
Not many would have traded him in early unless they had an injury & minimal cash
              Never wanted Williams
His owners got lucky with all the GWS injuries
In a fully fit GWS he’d still be scoring 85’s

              1. Dunno about your reasoning there, and I guess theres no way to prove a counterfactual either way. But the fact is he is averaging 100, so you can’t really bag out Williams owners for having him. It just makes you sound salty for being a non-owner

    1. I’m giving Birchall one more week, but if he does well I’m thinking he is coming into my side for bench cover.

What trade-out should I make as a priority this week????,

    TU Cunnington -> Someone

  2. Who will lose least value this week
    Gawn or ROB?
Have enough $ to trade up ROB to Gawn but concerned that with only 5 trades remaining and Moore going to Whitfield whether I wait another week.
Rob vs Clarke should score well.
Gawn/ Preuss vs Eagles without Natanui
    T/ u ROB to Gawn
    T/d wait another week.

    1. If Gawn hits his 124 season average, he’ll be around 610k next week (-30k).
If ROB hits his 95 average, he will be about 495k (-23k).
