Breaking Even – Rd5

Written by Schwarzwalder on April 18 2017

Don’t break bad……..Break Even!  A popular feature at SCT, we’ve shortlisted the most SC-relevant players for you as a handy guide (mainly those owned by 3% of teams or more, with a few exceptions).   While there’s not quite room for all 650+ players on the list, you can find ALL the Breakevens at ‘Nath’s Stats’ (left of screen or CLICK HERE) and use the search function.

For the Supercoach newbies out there, the Breakeven is the score needed by each player to hold his price.  If they score above that Breakeven value, their $$ value will rise.  If they score below that Breakeven point, they will lose value.  Sorry if I’ve overlooked something.  Be sure to let me know in the Comments below and I’ll update it as soon as I can.  If you have any questions about Breakevens, don’t hesitate to ask in the Forum and I’m sure our friendly SCT Community will help out.

    1. Played great yesterday, but will get a couple of weeks off. Watchlist him, he’s a good downgrade target if he gets back on the field.

  1. Unless Buddy gets hurt this week, I’m locking in Taranto -> Franklin for next week. Sydney’s next five weeks = Carlton, Brisbane, North, Saints and Hawthorn.
Balic in for Florent this week. How is Williamson’s JS?

    1. Definitely not 100%. Whether or not he gets a regular game or not heavily depends on performance, because we have a lot of guys in the two’s looking to get a game, and cos we’re rebuilding Bolts may be more inclined to try out some more young blokes.

I think he definitely has the potential to play really well and play the rest of the season, but it’s not a guarantee.

  2. How likely are eddy and Barret to come back in to the seniors?
I want to trade Taranto or SPP to Ballic but have both Eddy and Barret getting doughnuts on my bench.

  3. It’s at an awkward stage of the year for any rookies who debuted round 1 vs those who didn’t make the cut round 1 but are now entering their 2-3 game phase. Sometimes this game makes it hard to separate a Newman from a Hampton. An Eddy from a Balic. Crucial not to waste trades, but crucial to jump ship at the right moment.
