If you were anything like me and had Burgoyne as a very cheap starting midfielder then you must be pulling your hair out over the latest injury news. Burgoyne had a low grade tear of the hammy confirmed yesterday as a result a minor training mishap. My take is that when it pings a little…it aint far from pinging a lot. He may come back in the early rounds says the statement from Hawk Land but in my opinion it now isnt worth the risk so…Burgoyne…ship off.

Masten took his spot in my team a couple of weeks ago because I had a feeling this was going to happen. Sometimes an injured player is like finding a cockroach – you never find just one. S Burgoyne is like that I reckon. Here endeth the lesson.
If he does play early, he’ll probably be ‘managed’ so every chance he’d shed a few dollars over the early rounds anyway. Potential downgrade target after about round 6-8 for mine.
Needs to put a LOT of runs on the board before being worthy of consideration……….and even then……….
