Burgoyne v Boyd

Written by Motts on March 19 2011

Your first 2 midfield guns are sorted and you’re now looking at the M3 position. You’re looking for someone that’s going to set you apart. Someone that is a proven performer. Someone that will play for you in the finals. Someone that is valued relatively cheaply.

I’m struggling to pick these 2 apart. How about you?

If any team were to sneak into the Top8, it'd be..........(two choices)

  1. Hey Motts, not sure if this poll has been done before, but can we possibly get one on what people are doing with Petrie? Starting him on bench, Trading him in after round 3, Not touching him.

  2. Burgoyne has been a proven supercoach stud in the past, i think barring injuries he should be back amongst the big boys in scoring, especially with the hawks looking at top 4 with a pretty injury free pre-season,

Cross is a gun and won’t move much

If ur looking at an improver take burgs but if u dont wanna risk it and have the cash go Boyd, especially with the first 3-4 doggie games very soft.

  3. Does anyone know why Boyd’s scores took a dive at the end of last season? Was he carrying an injury? Because up until round 18 he was absolutely killing it, and didn’t crack the tonne from then on.
