Burning Question – Rd10

Written by Schwarzwalder on May 24 2017

After a woeful start to the season (0-6), the Swans have burst into life over the last few weeks, winning their last three games.  As has been the case over the last few years, many Sydney players place themselves into Supercoach consideration.  This year is no exception……….

Josh Kennedy has had it rough in the guts but is still averaging 104 till now.  After an unusually slow start, Dan Hannebery has pumped out six tons from the last seven weeks (plus a 95!).  Jake Lloyd has placed himself in many back lines over the first nine Rounds and could prove to be a Top6 Defender.  Lance Franklin has been a touch inconsistent but is always capable of a monster score.  Plus Isaac Heeney is over his glandular fever and has been running at a 99avg from his first five games.

Is it time to board the Sydney train in 2017?  Is it too hard with the Rd11 Bye?  Let us know your thoughts below………

Given their form turnaround, is it time to load up on the Sydney players?

  1. Am bringing in J Lloyd this week. He has been super consistent, and plays a great rebounding role for the Swans.

Already have Adams, Laird and Shaw – so I would definitely prefer Docherty to Lloyd.

But he is just too pricey at just under $600K.

Please Sam – as a non owner, can you give us just one quiet game of around 60 – 70 points this week!!

  2. Started with Lloyd 🙂 and hanners :(.

Picked up heeny 3 weeks ago and have newman.

Thats enough syd players for me.

  3. Started with Lloyd, Hanners and J Kennedy and traded them all out at a loss, No, I still don’t buy it. There are way other options and with the byes coming, I am just happy to miss out. Dont get we wrong, the team is full of guns but they will not make the finals so their form will drop off at the end…prove me wrong and I will learn that for next season but for now once bitten, twice shy..
