This one could be a battle of the first year captains if Murph gets the nod over Simmo and Carrots. Both pure midfielders who averaged well over a ton last year (Cotchin: 110.4, Murphy: 112.6), both pretty durable.
Which one would you take? Would you take both? Would you prefer a team with neither of them in it?

Both for me, murphys a bargain at that price
I am glad you bought this topic up Motts as I think it is an important decision. In January Murph was in my team with Cotchin but he is a maybe at the moment … why?
2010 avg – 111
2011 avg – 118
2012 avg – 112 (sustained injury)
I am worried about inconsistent scores when given the #1 tag each week. From what I can tell Juddy had the best tagger up until last year when the opposition targeted Murph. Even before his injury he was tagged at times with modest scores. Here are some examples: 89, 73, then post-injury: (108 but against the Dogs), 98 and 78.
In 2011 he rarely had a tag and if he did it was not necessarily the best tagger. If he is tagged this year I cannot see him getting back to the 118 average he had in 2011
I have not yet put a line through his name but I will need some convincing to give him a spot.
Had Murph at M4 but switched to Cotch
Can’t justify these guys as M1-3
I have Fyfe at M5 ………… could switch Fyfe to Murph
