Cox v Mumford

Written by Motts on March 8 2012

They’re both premiums that made the SCTTL but one’s on the wrong side of 30 and the other has never played a full season in his 4 year career.

Given everything (cost, age, Nic Nat factor, injury, likelihood of being suspended etc), who would you take out of these 2?

Sorry, there are no polls available at the moment.

  1. Big cox, everyday of the week! West coast will win more games then Sydney this year. I always favour players from regular winners as scores are higher from them.

  2. This year I would love to take Big Cox but next year I will have a crack at Mummy.

  3. Both are valuable mobile ruckmen but i would hafta pick Coxy. He’s been the most consistent premium ruckmen in Supercoach since forever. Lock him in.

  4. Coxy’s a gun but you feel his price is a tad too high. Sydney’s stoppage style of footy is boring to watch but favours ruckmen’s possesion count…

  5. Wow definitely thought Cox would be leading this by quite a bit! Looks like alot of people are going with Mummy this year!

  6. Nobody has mentioned what impact a fit Seaby will have on Mumford’s scoring…. My thoughts are that it will have a bigger impact than Nic Nat on Massive’s scoring.

  7. Whilst I love Mummy, and despite the fact I’d have to pay a bit extra, I’d get Big Cox. I’d love to slip big Cox in this season, he always stands tall, and is hard at it every day of the week. There certainly aren’t many who can say Cox has gone soft. He’s a big unit, who can move around and rack them up time and time again….

… man this is like shooting fish in a barrel, apologies!

  9. Hey I know il get dissed for this but I’m going the nicNat and macca combo. NicNat to take the next step and if macca stays fit will burn for the Roos.

  10. Gone with Mummy at this stage in a 1:3 ruck set up, hoping that Giles will be the Zac Smith of 2012 and allow me enough cash to upgrade him halfway through the season to Cox, who’s price will hopefully be back down around the 600K mark.
