Who are you bringing in for the Finals?
Rooey is at the top of my list. Other than that, a couple of gun backmen – it’ll be between Fisher, Broughton, and Scotland. I’d love Malsexi but can’t bring myself to pay $500k for him when he was $273k in R1.
I know I should of had him from the beggining but I finally have Hodge in my team. And on his opening week he shall be greeted by the big C. Hopes it not too much pressure for him.
Just one backman to go with around $470,000 to spend. Think Broughton will be the man for the job but will have to assess next week.
Who the hell does this Deano bloke think he is? Pretty self – indulgent I think!
I’m looking at bringing in Roo, Joey and (not before time – that’s what happens when you take the punt his price will depreciate) Goddard.
My theory is that the Saints’ draw is spectacularly soft and that the General (soreness variety) will not strike all at once ala rd 19 last year. On that basis, I hope Joey is a late exclusion tonight or at worst next week.
Re Joey – or even better that he plays, re-injures that groin with a one week tear in the first quarter after scoring 2 points, then fronts up again next week to score his usual 130-odd.
Hey Deno, I’m with you. I can’t believe some fella wrote in and now has his own post…. This fella is completely self indulgent….. Anyway, either Montagna or Judd for me in place of Danger-mouse.
I’m fully upgraded with 3 trades left that are all set aside for injuries. I’m top four in all my leagues and scored 2530 last week (101 overall). I’m pretty happy at the moment so i have no intention of using any of them as trades until Rnd 21. Obviously i may need to use my trades over the next few weeks (probably when Buddy, Waite and Hille all get suspended this week!!) but the plan is to stick with the current 22.
Swan (regretting picking Joey over him earlier in the season), if I don’t have to cover any donuts
I’ve done my trading for the year, but, if, I was trading, then Nick is an obvious trade, I’d bring Jolly and maybe a defender, Lake, or Fisher.
The bench is the main thing that needs attention, my on-field is pretty good, but injuries to those blokes hurt.
Does anyone think that the paddock @ Ethiad will impact on potential upgrades?
Just bought in Nick Riewoldt this week and have enough coin for Dane Swan next week. One trade left then for any mishaps. Was a big call between Higgins and Grundy for Riewoldt but traded out Higgins. Grundy needs to be rewarded for a solid year. It will be out Martin for Swan.
I’m picking up a Roo steak for dinner and Pavlova for desert.
Not sure how the Pavlova will help you in the desert. Try Waters instead . . . oh, you mean ‘dessert’. Got in now.
Riewoldt, Hayes, Gilbert, Goddard, Fisher, And a ruck.
Well I need Goddard, Swanny and Roo
Sen’s latest rumour, Late change tonite game: Jones out, Geary in.
Looks like it’s you n me 1st week of finals PA. Cam formally known as Cameron is 2 down unless he is silly enough to make trades this week.
I might tank it this week, so I can face Mottsy next week, might.
Whoops, yea I didnt factor in your loss with a possibile fall to 4th spot.
I’d prefer 4th also to take on the big guy but can’t guantee it with a tank.
well ice man i will be trading…need to get on the st.nick express…
I just did, Roo in, Pods out.
Hope none of your other forwards do an injury this week.
Trading in St Nick won’t help you being 2 down in other positions.
pods out? oooohh… im keeping him… ive been hit by injuries and omissions this week…bartel, davis, pods, shaw, bastinac, roberton…I made 2 trades…now i just need some luck…
ice man, im hoping alright…
Whatever it is I just hope it’s a close one so I dont loose too much % & 4th spot.
As you can tell….. No trades for me!!, come back 1 week!!!
Forgot about the DPP as I don’t use it. Cam’s loaded up with 2 trades & a full team!
Gumby gone for the night Frosty, that’s ruff for you.
Finally got one right.
Too bad it doesn’t matter to most of us.
Either Swallow/Watson/Pendlebury and Lake.
bringin in Brian Lake.
Welcome back Nicky Reiwoldt vale Robbie Gray.
Hope Gray continues to spud it up so we can get on next year if he’s healthy.
Rookie of the round- I’m guessing Tom Lynch
Don’t put me out of a job… but you may be right. Though I see plenty of newby’s this round.
yeah just have that feeling about him especially considering his VFL form for Sandrinham
Liam Jones for me.
Jonesy may score ok, but can’t see him keeping his spot either way…. that said, same applies to Lynch.
