Defender Rookie Poll

by Motts on March 5, 2012

Here are the most popular selections for rookie defenders priced under $250k. Give me the 5 you think will go best this year.

The Top 5 will head straight to the SCTTL.

Didn’t realise Smedts had won the Forward Rookies poll. Where do people want to play him?

Forward – thumbs up
Back – thumbs down

Wherever he goes, I’ll take the next highest votegetter from the other position to replace him (if that makes sense).

Depends on whether a bigger risk is being taken in the back line or forward line with the mid-pricers.

I know with my team I’m taking a punt on a couple of low-end mid-price defenders. As a contingency I’m putting Smedts in my forward line so if by RD3 one of the defenders is looking like a horror pick then I can either straight swap him for another defender who is looking the goods or bring Smedts into the backs and grab a rookie forward who is gunning it.

Looks like Pfeiffer gets the last FWD rookie guernsey.

Billie smedts? What has he done? I can’t for the life of me understand. Sam Darley has done more. Oops was I meant to keep that one quiet.

Goose March 5, 2012 at 1:14 pm

Lee spur looks the most comfortable out on the field out of them all.

Anyone like the idea to have one “trade” option as a minor POD prior to lockout…Use any existing poll and have a choice between 5th or 6th or whoever just missed out….as the first and only action undertaken by the “coach” prior to lockout? or have a poll to decide?

Fishtopher March 5, 2012 at 6:05 pm

No need.

First league round is RD3 so everyone can make four changes to the starting line-up if they want before we go head to head.

Omen March 5, 2012 at 5:14 pm

$1,818,600 remaining….

Swan + Murphy + Hayes (leaves $95,600 pocket money).

Barry March 5, 2012 at 5:59 pm

what im worried about is that there are 3 richmond players in the backline….

Juddy but not THE Juddy March 5, 2012 at 5:43 pm

I’ll buy that for a dollar but I would rather Dangerfield that Hayes. #pattyisgonnagooff
