  1. Great to see Relton making a comeback. Even then he looked like he’d stopped in to Maccas before getting to the game.

  2. off topic too – with swan expected to be sub as part as collingwood’s sub rotation – these are some options that i’m thinking – thoughts?

Continue With Trade/s: Out: J. Kennedy In: E. Curnow (trying to get him b4 his price goes through the roof)
    Out: A. Everitt In: B. Gibbs/C. Enright
    OR
Put Swan on bench for either Liberatore/J. Kennedy (if I dont do the trades)
    OR
keep Swan on field and pray for an early injury in the game

I have know idea what to do as I have Rioli in my forward line ho is also missing

    Thoights on this anyone?

  3. I think JC jumped the gun a little. HS is reporting that the Pies are looking at resting gun players as they are spending more time on the ground with the new sub rule
This isn’t new however may become more common this year and could happen earlier than previous years
It would be my guess that if they were going to look at giving swan, pendles etc time off it would be for a whole game and not as a sub

  4. Mottsy do you really see Malthouse subbing Swan against the Mighty Blues in this friday nights Blockbuster??

Maybe if the pies are smashing us by 10 goals at 3 quarter time.

But i see the likes of swan and peddles being used as subs against GC and Bris…

  5. There’s a 0% chance that Swan, Pendles, Thomas or any other topline Collingwood player will sit out when the Pies take on a contender. I completely agree with you regarding GC & Brisbane – although if Mick was watching Chooseday Night footy on Fox Sports 1 last night, he may want to exact a little bit of retribution on Brisbane for the shellacking they gave his boys at the G in 2007.

  6. do the coaches announce subs 90 minutes before each game as I have heard or are they doing it before lockout for us supercoachers?

  7. Essendon’s Injury list is tainted, both Browne and Hibberd are injured yet their not on the list.
