  1. Throw Cooney, Hudson, Gilbee and Morris into that list as well. The Age reported today that they were all under a virus cloud.

        1. Jonesy – yep, in doubt

dunx – I take it you’ve only got one trade left for the season. I’d go Dawes for Rooey.

  2. Still don’t get how Brown’s name is not on the injured list. Vossy came out and said he’s injured yet he’s not in the injured list. I’m starting to lose respect for the injury list.

On a secondary point, it’s good to see that the Doggies have concocted a mor einteresting way of resting their sore and injured players in th elead into finals. General soreness out and the abola virus in

    1. The only problem is the Doggies can’t afford to rest their players because they will drop outside the top 4 🙁

          1. Lets look at the facts and our last 3 games boys.
Richmond – we WILL win. Fact.
Geelong – we’ve beaten them the last 2 times we’ve played them and they’ll probably rest players against us. Fact.
Freo – we beat them over there last year (in pretty canary yellow) and they’re looking tired. Fact.

The Blues COULD win their last 3 games and if other results go our way, maybe, just maybe, we’ll snag 4th.

          2. What about %, the Blues need to make up 33% on the Dogs, plus the FACT there is no way the Doggies are going to lose 3 in a row, going into the finals.

            0
          3. RE the 33% – The Blues only need to make up 16% and for the Bulldogs to lose 16% to cover that – hard but not impossible.
RE Bulldogs 3 losses – Geelong this week, Sydney in Sydney next week and then a resurgent Essendon in R22……

OK so I may be kidding myself but hey it never hurt to dream.

I think you should cut your losses for this year and accept the one embarassing finals loss as opposed to two. Be careful what you wish for with the double chance.

          5. Not bad advice, Deano. It could be argued that anyone outside of The Magnificent 4 is just making up the numbers this year. They said the same about the Crows in ’97.

  3. Ok I think I have worked out my trades for this week
    Hams > Goddard
    Pavlich> Montagna
Or if Cooney is not picked then it would be
    Hams > Goddard
    Coons > Hayes
    What does everyone think??

      1. I have 3 trades. Highly likely to trade Skipper (R3) for Browne at the Tiges to give me cash for my final two trades – one in Rnd 21 and another in Rnd 22 hopefully.

  4. I’ve got 2 trades and 190k in the bank and I’ve got the week off in both finals leagues (got sheeds in both 2nd vs 3rd what are chances?). So I’m feeling pretty happy right now. Especially if Browny’s having a week off.
