With LeCras injured, an underperforming Watts, and an error on my part with Embly in the line up, having not got up at 5am in the UK to see he was sub, yes, i have a little tinkering to do
.
Can’t complain too much though.
Angry for allowing myself to be talked into Watts and Dangerfield which has cost me a top 500 ranking after the first round.
Rectifying my mistake now and moving on
Some tinkering for me … Terlich not being named caused me to change structure at the 11th hour and I am really not happy with Broughton in the team. What do you think I should do?
Thumbs Up – Broughton to Birchall
Thumbs Down – Broughton to Terlich if named (this will be 5th rookie in back)

i made two trades, i figured if they have given us a few extra trades since last time, i thought i might bring in any rookies i missed to make use of the best cash cows, as well as any mid-pricer’s who are gunning it. Then again whats the use of playing this game without taking any risks. Anyway thats my theory this year (as it changes every year)

Michael Barlow, takes 2-3 years to get over a broken lower limb, i still think he can reach the heights on 2010.

The plan is to bring in M.Jones if If K. Mitchell named as sub again.
Even with lecras in my team the only trade im considering is Watts to someone. I have him up fwd so am thinking of rocky. Im happy to carry lecca for a little bit as the eagles have an easy run when he comes back.
Quite happy to wait a week on the Kieran Harper and Kane Lucas experiments.
I can only assume Terlich, Vlastuin and Currie will be getting some game time soon.
Happy to see Franklin, Roughead and Zaharakis score poorly first up. Monitoring those guys very closely!
Anyone heard whether koby Stevens is injured. I know he was subbed due to tightness but is this an ongoing concern?

Danger has to go for me this week, may be my only chance to bring Gaz in and as much as I’d like to keep Paddy, I NEED Ablett. Who knows may even be able to pick him up in 6 weeks time for 100k cheaper just in time for them to play GWS.
The Cows play Brisbane (Raines) Port (Kornes) Bulldogs (Picken) and Blues (Carazzo/Armfield) And Hawthorn in their next 5. Really seems like a smart trade to me.
Everybody seems to be jumping on the j.kennedy bandwagon however i think there may be better value in a.sipposs from the saints.. just a thought…

The big question for me is ablett i thought i could wait for him but he has proved me wrong by smashing his breakeven. So in saying that do i get rid of two underperformers from this week or do i wait and risk losing more points on ablett.

Hmm made one clanger this week by not checking Emergencies and Tony Armstrong was in my side. Don’t have the cash to trade him for Suban and I have Pittard, Goodes, Heath (Campbell) and Stevenson already.
Any suggestions? Vlastuin may be named so could trade him for some cash and a rookie if Vlas is named.

I thought Embley might represent good value this year but am now concerned he might get more vest time.
I’m thinking about swapping him for Monfries who has DPP status (don’t currently have a mid/fwd DPP). PA seem to have a relatively easy start to the season with GWS and GCS in the early weeks. That would give me 7 PA players but I’d be looking to offload several of these by the bye.

Do not get rid of your guns, I repeat do not get rid of your guns. Have faith in your team, we picked Dangerfield cause he’s a gun and he will score 130 next game. Now watts is another story, I fell for the pre season hype and now I gotta waiste a trade on that muppet before his price drops, but we live and learn!

Relax everyone. Jack watts will be ok. Don’t trade your expensive players as they are expensive for a reason. They are proven scorers. If they get injured then trade. You will need the trades at the end even if we have more this year.
Actually on second thoughts should i trade Leuenberger to free up some cash?

Trade 2 – Lecras into rockliff
Vlastuin keeps mid/defence DPP with goodes, but I’ll see who gets named.
