Final Overall Ranking

Written by Motts on September 2 2013

I ended up at 4,729 (top 1.5%) which I’m not unhappy about. I’m stealing a bit of Duck’s thunder here with his SCT Group post but congrats must go to Paul, coach of Paul’s Pretty Boys, who finished the season in 6th. Magnificent effort!

SCT’s very own MJ finished just outside the Top 10 in 12th overall. Well done, MJ, and I’m sure you’ll be up there again in 2014.

How did you do?

  2. Had an OK year overall.

Lowest rankings finish in four years at 1,544 (last three have been 150, 789 and 146) and didn’t take out any premierships (except in the league with my mates who don’t really know what’s going on), but ranked in the top .5% isn’t that bad!

Three top 20 ranked leagues including LoEC1 is nice too (6th, 7th and 16th), I love good quality competition.

  6. Finished 205 overall, best season ever yet no premierships 🙁

Had a huge 100 rank jump in the last round, scored 2675 and lost to someone who scored 2690. Early pull of the trigger with the Selwood (VC) cost me.

  7. Scored 2543 to lose 2 out of 3 GF’s.
Barlow 66 Enright 61 and Burger 58 saved their worst games of the year to conspire against my ambitions for a clean sweep..
Finished a nice round 400th overall which was 21st in the SCT group.
Score of 2407 led to comprehensive victory in 2 DT GF’s
Cheers to all coaches.. bring on 2014

  9. Finished at 2458 overall.

I was pretty happy with the season and learnt a lot in my second year. After being in the top 1000 I fell away badly in the last 4 weeks due to captain choices and injury.

I have registered with SCT and Harbour Heroes (there goes my wife) SCF leagues for the finals and looking forward to the different strategies that will emerge. Next year I am hoping to join the SCT league.

A big thankyou to the guys from this site. Throughout the season I visit it daily and enjoy all the regular posts and discussion. The absence of trolls is a bonus. Well done guys.

  11. 327 Overall

Having no trades going into the GF meant I had to field T. Mitchell instead of Fyfe which cost me one GF win…

Lesson learned for next year… ALWAYS SAVE 1 TRADE haha

  13. Finished at 8,925th overall.

Missed out by 6 to crack 50,000 points but oh well, I had a much more smarter season by raising my average by an okay 33 but still to my expectations it was fairly average. Hopefully can run into a bit more luck come next season. I’ll be gladly sticking around in the off-season if you guys are continuing with the EPL stuff, in my first year and I am genuinely lost.

  17. I ended up finishing 2340 overall with an average 2207.39, fairly happy with my year in respect that I kept building/improving my overall ranking most of the year and finished in the top half dozen in total points for the LoEC.

Great fun as always look forward to another ripping year next year.

  18. 146 overall. Pretty happy with that, also a bit dissapointed though given I was 43rd just a month ago. Horrible finals series (yet again). Pretty much everything that could go wrong, did go wrong: injuries, suspensions, late outs, red vests, captain let downs, and the list goes on. Traded hard throughout the year to improve my ranking which left me exposed during finals.

Given the winner ran out of trades in Rd19, just goes to show how lucky you have to be!
