-Kurt Tippett is also rumoured to be un-fit.
-Sam Shaw of the Crows hyper-extended his knee last week, named in the team, but was seen having lengthy talks with the clubs doctors, so beware.
-Greg Broughton owners’, be aware, suffered a nasty knock to the head last week, Lee Spurr and Tom Sheridan are possible inclusions, as they were flown over and are on stand-by.

Its all over twitter from fantasy freako who is pretty reliable. You could probably see it was going to happen, wouldn’t be suprised if they rested a few guns next week against Gold Coast before playing the pies as well.

I don’t see the point in flying Greg Broughton over if he may not get up due to concussion. If his concussion was bad enough to keep him out this week, surely they would have left him in Perth as a precaution and not put extra stress on his brain injury by whacking him on a plane at 35,000ft. Come on Broughts, get up son!!

Wouldn’t be the first concussion victim to be pulled hours before the game after a final test and he does have a week to recover if he doesn’t play. He must be close though which is a good sign. If I see him on the way to the game I’ll be throwing something at his head though (and Ballantyne while I’m at it). Come on Spurr, get in son!!

Giles to Mumford, no (not sold on how good his back is).
Giles to Jacobs, maybe.
I got rid of Giles a couple of weeks ago (to NicNat) because I’m not sure how strongly he’ll finish the season. Not sure about Jacobs, but Mumford and Jacobs are the obvious two for your budget.
How short on trades are you? Giles should be serviceable for the rest of the season, even if he’s not as good as he was early on.

Bullet bitten. Giles OUT Pattison IN – Darley OUT Carrots IN
Would have been happier waiting a week but Clarke & Darley not playing forced my hand. Figured the money I could have saved waiting a week for Carrots won’t be that far off what Giles goes down anyway.
I now have 3 trades left ($210k helps though) and forward bench coverage of Hayden Crozier and Adam Pattison. Am I scared? I’m not wearing the brown undies for nothing Mick!

Fish, surely Soupy would have been a better option than Pattison?? I think Soupy will get quite a decent run playing that forward/ruck role. Has impressed every game he’s played, and Cordy/Ruffhead Jr have been average.

I have to either trade out Pfeiffer (which means McDonald is M7/MB1 starting until Pendles comes back) or trade out McDonald (Pfeiffer is M7/MB1 starting for Pendles, PLUS can swap to FWD to be F8/FB1 and fill in for an injury up front).
Sexton is F8/FB1 if I keep McDonald.
Pfeiffer: 63.6 avg, 45 BE
McDonald: 77.8 avg, 68 BE
TU: Pfeiffer out

Also if McDonald goes, I can afford to bring Carrazzo in this week to replace Darley (not playing this week for GWS, but playing D7 for me). Trading Pfeiffer doesn’t give me enough money to do the trade until next week.
If Carrazzo doesn’t come in this week for Darley (avg 60, BE 5), he comes in next week for Darley or Ellis (avg 53.4, BE 27). Waiting a week makes me a little more money (whatever Carrazzo’s price drops by this week) and gives me a little more flexibility (if I have a LTI with one of my DEF prems, Carrazzo can come in for them instead).
Darley or Ellis is my D7 for the rest of the year.
TU: do the double trade and bring in Carrazzo for Darley
