Still having an incredibly tough time deciding on my last move. Staker is 100% coming into my squad, but I’m looking for a FWD premium, it’s between NicNat and Stevie J.
They’ve got the Round 12 Bye and I settled on NicNat, but I just feel like Stevie J may go BOOM-BOOM against GCS/GWS in the next two weeks and give me a gigantic headache.

Like Mike I had a stack of problems deciding on who to trade in with my second trade..
First trade is Stevenson > Staker
The sequence of my second trade has been as below (each time having to go and reverse):
Heath > Goddard
Moloney > Jobe
Moloney > M Murphy
I’m a bit of a bargain hunter so even though I have plenty of coin I struggle to pay fair dollar for Jobe. I’d also originally considered Hartlett in for Heath.
If Terlich plays, after re-shuffling my trades & wearing out the reverse button this week I’ll thankfully have 22 playing…emergencies on 3 of 4 lines.
My final thought’s for Friday have switched back to dinner tonight with the lovely & the kids….Ummmmmm!

dwyer to me is at his max. mayes, if he gets another run sometime, only has to score 70’s or so to go up another 80-100k. Saying that, dwyer seems to have better job security and doesnt have his bye until r13 meaning you can trade him out closer to that, whereas mayes will miss next week aswell on the bye.
This week I have bitten the bullet.
I am over it with every week having premo sitting on the pine trying to find rookies to cover, with no Viable FWD downgrade this week I have given ROCKY the A#S@, Taken my Stance and you are out for NIC NAT, time I toughened up as a coach and not let these guys pull injuries and expect to get back into my team.
Luey your are going for Kruezer, Waters if you are reading this the only reason you are still in as I have no coverage in my Forward line so next week you better play or you are GONE as well.

Ha ha ha I am sure he reads the sight so pumping him up a little. With some inspired coaching and the fear of being dropped from my team he will pull through, week after week.

No doughnuts for me, but no bench cover at all. The pine is really getting a workout with band-aids. The tip from Duck about Footynerd is great. It shows me who I have to trade first through the bye rounds.
Going in with zero zeroes… pretty happy with that and happy not trading anyone else in at this rate aside from Staker.
I figure I’m going to burn through 6-9 trades over the next 3-4 weeks so just building up a war chest for now.
Short term pain… long term gain!

Out of the 3 rookie MIDS this week, who’s got the best job security and upside?
1. N. Hrovat – Playing on a weaker team, so more chance of keeping a spot, especially with Cross on the way out it seems?
2. K. Martin – Injuries mounting up at CFC, could mean better J.S. A bit more mature and has been racking up the stats of late.
3. T. Mitchell – Obviously a gun and has been playing out of his head lately, but keeping a spot in the premiership side’s midfield? Not so sure about that.

I had the same quandry last week and went for Black and lost out but Black has put in a couple of big scores.
Unfortunately don’t have the option of using the E trick as I have Ben Kennedy on the bench too who has been a shocking rookie downgrade from Neade!
Should have had a no doughnuts option. Looking good at this stage.
Terlich, A.Goodes, and Swan are all worrying me though.
no donuts for me this round since R4…as a SC noob I have been following the advice of this site and hopefully I can start beating a few of my southern mates that roped me into this all consuming competition 🙂

Tommy Rockliff out forces me into this =( Hayden Crozier would usually be backup as 1st on bench but with Stevie J into the middle, I can switch Rocky with him and put Kommer on the field. And I can’t do the loophole because brissy play tonight so I can’t switch him around during/after Croz and Kom’s games.

I traded Andrew Walker in after his blistering start and only managed a 141 out of him then a few mediocre scores. Hesitant to trade him out before GWS though.
