I think I've stumbled into a nice little structure for the bye rounds. Only a handful of premiums to miss Round 11, and then I can start trading out my rookies when their byes hit.

an (what I think is) 8 point loss to Motts, good game, Champ. After gaining the minor premiership in SCTTL2, I’ve bowed out in straight sets.

Nope. Wish I did. Should have listened to you guys. Went with Rockcliff, who if I remember correctly, was sitting on about 45 until about the death knell of the 3rd quarter, went on to just about double his score in the last quarter thank god.
The other main contenders were:
Mundy Vs Richmond and Scott Selwood.
Glad I didn’t try and be a smartypants and get Jack Steven, I just knew that would come back to bite me on the ass…

I’m into the Prelims! Finished bottom half of the eight in 2/3 leagues after the minor rounds. Dropped a QF but bounced back v Crawfy. Quite stoked.

2301/Gaj in SCTTL1, but had the week off and got knocked out of SCTTL Finals last week. Big Buddy “illness affected” size donuts in all teams.

I live. Disappointing scores were evened out by superman efforts. I was thinking that I would be regretting trading Buddy off last week as he came back this week. But his late out made me feel a lot better and arguably won me the semi (won by 109) as my opponent had no one to cover him in the FWD line.
Off to the prelims we go.

Thank god I only had one semi final to play this week (got 3 prelims next week). Lost Buddy and Mitchell (thanks for nothing Clarko), and Pendles stunk it up as captain. Cursed the almighty every time Baldy got the ball, knowing he was killing my chance at a 4th prelim. But alas, crept home by 88 points and can sleep easy once more.
Got 4 trades up my sleeve and just as well because it’s pissing down! Cloke and Dusty are in the firing line.

Still alive in LoEC and now gotta play the all conquering Don Cottagers. Hopefully Buddy will be back but i’m starting to think Aker may be on to something (i normally just think he’s on something!!).

BIG BAD BARRY CROCKER! Not much went right this week and got absolutely spanked by Roo Bloke in LoEC. Blew out to 1911 in the rankings too.
My beloved Hawks have screwed me over for the second year running. Had no cover for Mitchell or Franklin. Cost me my other league game with a 16 point loss.
Watson, Rance, Selwood, Scotland, Carrazzo & Martin all rubbish and need a spray to get into gear for my remaining three league games next week.
GAJ, Beams, Danger and the Roughnut continue to lead the way and loved seeing Goodesy back in form.
Biggest spray of all I direct straight at the reflection in the pond. Will I ever learn to not abuse that trade button. Used my last two trades this week to get Clarke and Spurr up to Scotland. Scotland gets me 64 and pushes Sam Shaw’s 113 to the bench. EPIC FAIL!
If I can get back Mitchell, Franklin, Swan & Porplyzia I can hopefully bounce back and keep things alive in my other three leagues.

Cheers RB but I would have needed 450 from those two to get up. Had a lot more issue than just those two this week. My backline that only had one score higher than Sam Shaw’s 113 one the bench for a start.
