He sat in both of our Forward lines but my opponent had the flexibility to switch him to the mids and play Kyal Horsley instead. I did not. With time ticking down I scanned the list of options: I couldn’t afford Beams, I wasn’t convinced Pav was goin to play well in Adelaide, and N-Roo’s knees bothered me. After considering the likes of Hawkins, Cyril, and Sidey, I settled on Stevie J.
Geelong played him on the ball, he gets 32 possies, kicks a goal, lays 10 tackles and scores 140.

I’ll tell you what not to do… Don’t bring in Nat Fyfe as cover for Chappy, only to have him slip on his suitcase in his hotel room whilst kicking the footy before the game. Only one trade left and no chance of bringing in Pav and getting rid of Cloke for the grand final now.

I luckily managed to still grab the win with a donut there but it completely ruined my strategy. I only have not trade which I’ll now have to hold for injury cover. Hopefully Fyfe gets up this week so I can relegate Cloke to the bench. I’ll get some satisfaction out of that at least!

For those wondering, I did end up beating the guy in my cash league: 2,595 to 2,367. He now goes on to play Big Sexitude this week. MASSIVE game for Big Sexy. He says he’s got trades and cash to burn (don’t we all?) but with Cyril out, I seriously don’t think he’s going to get the chocolates.

How do I trade who do I hold.
Rioli trade I can get anyone
Roo trade R O’Keefe down
Hall trade 399,000 down.
Because the injuries are not clear cut it makes it hard.
Rioli 2-3 weeks, if 3 weeks he has got to go.
N Roo, who knows knee injury could be anything.
Hall I put in as I think if I had some cover I could get up, but only if Rioli and Roo we definite to play earlier.
Learning towards Rioli they will want him right for the finals and take Dane Beams been smashing it.
