  1. Does anyone else agree that hall will notlive up to his nab cup performance? Is medhurst a wiser choice considering his preseason and also being 40K cheaper??
Another young emerging forward could also be Warren at 260K.

    1. Don’t know. But why would you put medhurst in for the same reasons you are taking bazza out? And 40k sounds like a lot, but it can quickly become irrelevant if one is out perfoming the other. All i am saying is pick the player not the price tag. In saying that i should probably take my own advice on a couple of my own players, but easier said than done.

    2. I’m going back on previous posts and putting a tick next to BBB having observed his intent and ability during the preseason. Sure, his body and/or brain could snap at any moment but he’s at a price that’s worth the punt and that’s what this game is all about.
As for Medhurst, he’s only ever had 1 decent season – not much to hang your hat on.
Warren and Wright are definitely worth a try. Neither has set the world alight during the NAB but if you’re prepared to right off Bazza’s performances then…………………

    1. There’s more up-side AND down-side to Hall. Cloke has impressed me on many occasions but doesn’t really score brilliantly – he hasn’t cracked an 80 average for a season yet. Baz, on the other hand, has bettered 80, 3 out of the last 5 seasons………but only once in the last 3.

      1. That should read: doesn’t score brilliantly AND consistently – he managed 100+, 5 out of 19 games in ’09, with top scores of 143, 134 and 120. He also scored 29, 32, 34 and 38.

  2. what about rob murphy? he seems reasonably priced and the dogs often look to move the ball through him??

also even though he isnt in the forward line but Clinton Young is there any news on him? is he still injured? i seem to remember him in the Hawks premireship yr as being a bit of a ball magnet…any news?

  3. If you’re a risk taker then Murph would be good, but he’s fairly injury prone.

I’m hoping for some big things in Josh Kennedy this year, surprised there’s only one other person who thinks the same actually.

    1. If you’re a risk taker and confident in Hall, go hall. If you need the cash and aren’t taking a chance on hall go ziebell.

Although I managed to fit both of them in my squad 😛
