FPL GW10 Wash-Up

SCT Manager of the Round: George McColgan, 2 Goals 1 Cup: 99 points
SCT League Leader: Adam Brady, Awkward Science: 742nd overall

George McColgan had a massive week, propelling himself to within just 18 points of long-time League Leader, Adam Brady. Awkward Science went on holiday in GW10, scoring just 43 points to give the rest of us a chance at catching him.

Goalkeepers:
Fraser Forster (£5.3m) has been a regular in this segment, now registering his 3rd consecutive clean sheet and climbing to the top of the Goalkeeper table. He’s conceded just three goals in nine games! Southampton have Leicester and Aston Villa coming up next, who claim just three goals between them in their last five games each. Ben Foster (£4.5m) hit double figures after a clean sheet and all three bonus points. Julian Speroni (£5.0m) is the only other goalkeeper to have claimed three bonus points in a match this season.

Defenders:
Calum Chambers (£4.8m) registered a goal, assist, clean sheet and three bonus points, awarding him as the highest scorer of any player in GW10 (18 points). It comes to no surprise that this cheap avenue into the Arsenal defence is the most transferred in defender approaching GW11. Leighton Baines (£7.2m) bags more points (and bonus) as Everton and Swansea finished 0-0. If Kyle Naughton (£4.3m) can hold down a spot in the Spurs back four after playing 90mins last week, he could present plenty of value.

Midfielders:
Alexis Sanchez (£10.7m) goes large for the third week running and has become the most sought after player in the game. Downing (£5.8m) and Wanyama (£4.6m) represent strong value for money options, with 13 and 11 points respectively. Hazard (£10.0m) and Oscar (£8.3m) are both running riot for Chelsea at the moment, each bagging a goal on the weekend.

Forwards:
Steven Fletcher (£5.3m) scored his second brace in four weeks and has thus been credited for four of Sunderland’s last six goals. He has Everton and Leicester before a tough run against four of the current top seven teams on the table. Charlie Austin (£5.7m) continued his promising form with an clever opportunistic goal against Chelsea. Sakho (£5.8m) is back in training for West Ham after a minor shoulder injury. Sergio Aguero (£12.6m) is addicted to scoring goals, with 10 shots hitting the back of the net this season to make him the league leader in that department. He is averaging a goal every 70 minutes in the Premier League.
