I’m thinking of taking a double donut in the fwd line this week in order to hold my trades and let my cows fatten up. My two leagues cash leagues i’m doing well in Undefeated and top of ladder in one, and 3rd with 1 loss in the other. Both match ups are hard this week, so thinking about just taking a loss and saving the trades. I’ve got 18 left.

If they’re on the i/change bench they’ll definitely play, bel. The only risk is if they’re named as the sub – in that case they’ll only play about a quarter of the game. The ones you’ve gotta worry about are the ones named as Emergencies – chances are they won’t play.

Thought I had it sorted, but now Smedts is in so I’m wavering.
Had gone Bugg > Shaw and Shiel > Sidebottom. The other option was A Kennedy > Pavlich or Zaharakis.

No-one I’m looking at dropping will change in price, and the guys I’m looking at bringing in should all rise by roughly the same as each other, so I should probably go for the two forwards to get the best score possible this week, then Shaw next week. But I wasn’t looking to make any trades for the next couple of weeks (barring LTIs) and I have a lot more flexibility (read:GWS rookies) in my forward line so doing the second forward trade next week after I see the GWS lineup for next week makes sense.
My opponent already has Shaw, Pavlich and Zaharakis, but he needs a FWD or two this week so could well be adding Sidebottom.
Thumbs up: Shiel > Sidebottom, Kennedy > FWD (Pav/Zaharakis etc), no donuts.
Thumbs down: Shiel > Sidebottom, Bugg > Shaw, 1 FWD donut
