  8. Thought that it was a pretty poor effort from Essendon tonight.

    I always thought Hawthorn would win, especially with three keys in Watson, Crameri and Fletcher out, but I was underwhelmed by what a lot of the senior guys dished up.

    Thought that Heppell played well, but didn’t really get a whole lot of help in the engine room.

    It’s the first time I’ve seen the Hawks live since I watched them demolish Collingwood last season (went to the game with the fiancées Collingwood-supporting family so had some fun there…) and boy are they a class outfit

  9. Going by Buddy’s body language tonight I think he will be staying with the Hawks. He looked a lot happier on the field, his team mates looked after him well. But I suppose time will tell, what do hawks supporters think.
