Friday Night Footy – Sydney Vs Carlton (SCG)

Written by Big Sexy on June 28 2013

Not quite the same when it’s following Thursday night football….. but I still love it!

The reigning premiers on the rebound go up against the old-dark-blues.

Players to watch-Sydney:  Kennedy, Jack, Tippett, Pyke, Mitchell, Bolton, McVeigh, ROK, Hannebery, Malceski

Players to watch-Blues: Judd, Gibbs, Krooz, Simpson, Robinson, Waite

  1. Argh. Slow mobile internet due to rain in brissy tonight.

Had just decided to trad jack in for rowe, given swans next two games and his sub 100 break even, would have got me jack in cheap and a nicholls/blicavs emergency option.

Wet conditions should help the contested players.

Have to ride it and score jpk next week.

  3. No tears from Yarran at this stage but if the blues can’t get it inside their 50 how is Malceski meant to score for me :p

  6. T/u make gravy

T/d pork sausages, fried onion mushroom and sweet potato mash will do.

Comments: Don’t forget the homemade chocolate orange and almond cheesecake

  7. They should be allowed to substitute the footy for a velcro ball at half time.

I dont think I can recall worse footy conditions since a doggies match at the western oval. Thats a long time ago.

There is half an inch of water over the entire field

  11. I have Jed Lamb as D10… Steve J out means he’s the emergency. Should I take Lamb’s 78 ahead of Staker?

    T/Up: take lambs 78
    T/Dn: roll with staker

  12. I’m still struggling on whether to get Swan or Danger for Vlaustuin this week.
Would normally go for Swan due to value but opponent has him in a must win game!

  13. In a bit of a quandary and lost sleep over this one, so any advice appreciated!

Lost Barlow from my mids this week with Crouch and Dwyer on the bench.

The options Ive been agonising over include who to play on field out of Crouch and Dwyer. OR trade Dwyer for Luke Ball or Robbie Gray. Trading Dwyer to Ball loses my forward swing option but I feel he is the better option.

I have 1 trade left this round and 7 left overall.

    Thumbs up – dont trade
Thumbs down – trade Dwyer for Ball

Or Comments would be great!!! Playing Crawf this week to stay in the 8!

  14. Did Malthouse say last night they haven’t played or trained in conditions like that in months and took awhile to adjust. I would of thought you would train in the wet all the time being a winter sport.
