Game Chat – Adelaide v Hawthorn

Written by Thommo on June 18 2015

With their bye done and Rory locked away for three years, Adelaide has the chance at home to cause a minor upset tonight. Win and they’re a chance for a top 4 spot; lose and the Crows rejoin the chasing pack.

Although the Hawks have won their last two games against the Crows in Adelaide, neither win was convincing and the Hawks are not playing great football this year. If the Hawks want their three-peat, they must win this game.

For a sub-plot, it will be interesting to see how theย increasingย contract pressure effects Dangerfield. Do we VC him or not?

Thommo’s tip: Hawthorn by 18 points.

  1. Gone with a left feild choice VC in Lewis!
thinking that he can go 140+ after few quiet games
    32 Disposals (18 contested) at 67%, 5 tackles, 4 marks and a goal.
    P.S I won $1,000 yesterday

  2. I dunno, is it worth getting Sloane in this week? Still got a high BE, and his price won’t change much…

T/U – Get him in anyway, great value regardless
T/D – You can wait one week and fix other lines

  8. Terribly disappointed in the score for Jordan Lewis. If it wasn’t the bye rounds, he be making way for someone showing some decent form.

  9. Gladly will take 1st new recruit Hodgey for his VC score…

Now to wait hopefully for no late changes for the rest of the matches this Round before I make my 2 other upgrades this week ๐Ÿ™‚

  10. Just home from the Crows v Hawks game. Cold night & the footy did not warm me up! How good is Burgoyne!! – that bloke is absolute class!
Rory Sloan did well on debut – even though he did not look his normal energiser bunny out there to me (hopefully his match fitness comes back in a week or two).
My other recruit Jacobs did not dominate, but deserved better than his 81 for me – missed a couple of gettable shots for goals which was disappointing.
