Game Chat – Coll v St K

Written by MJ on April 17 2015

The Pies and the Saints will kick off round three at the mighty ‘G at 7.50pm. Those of you who were sweating on the fitness of Scott Pendlebury look to be in the clear (fingers crossed he’s not a late withdrawal). Interesting game this one, the Saints will have a lot of confidence after their convincing win over Gold Coast last week.

Collingwood will also be looking to make a statement, after being embarrassed by Tex Walker and the Crows. Whilst St Kilda’s offensive fire power is no match for Adelaide’s; Collingwood’s porous defense may create an intriguing contest.

Justin’s Tip: Collingwood. Just. 11 points.

  2. OK, time for my last trade (already did Ablett to Sloane)

    Cripps or Miller to NVB – T/U
    Goodes to Laird or Savage – T/D

    or keep the trade?

    Already have best defensive rookies, obviously the Goodes trade is to hopefully snag a def keeper (D6) and the mid trade is just to get $$$ from NVB… hmm

  3. Just saw the jumpers for tonight’s clash on 7 news. Black and white stripes vs black, white and red stripes. This is going to be difficult!!!

  4. final decision this week:
    TU: Trade Miller for NVB
    TD: Trade Steele for NVB and lose my DPP swing to access Hogan/Lonie bench but potential to make $$ if Miller pulls his finger out

  6. Daniel Rich – $348,300
    BE = -21
    Fixture Until Bye – Richmond, West Coast, GC, Carlton, Port Adelaide, Essendon, St. Kilda, GWS
    VS
    Marcus Bontempelli – $422,300
    BE = -19
    Fixture Until Bye – Hawthorn, Adelaide, Sydney, St. Kilda, Fremantle, Melbourne, GWS, Port Adelaide

    Both players have Round 11 byes and ‘The Bont’ clearly has the tougher fixture. So… WHO SHOULD I PICK???

    Sad for Savage. He was doing well before that cloke hit. Hope he gets back on the field.

  17. First upgrade target will be getting newnes out for a premo..got plenty of the ball but used it poorly
    Hopefully malceski continues to stink it up and drop value

  18. Happy with Steven’s effort tonight, just wish his disposal efficiency could creep up a bit. He’d be scoring 120+ every week if he could bump it up to 70%. No one is bothering with a tag……….

  19. Happy with Swan and Oxley, disappointed with Pendles has had the VC on him, but have plenty to choose from for captain.

    Brown and Lonie weren’t great, but can’t always expect the rookies to fire.
