Game Chat – Ess v Coll

Written by MJ on April 25 2015

It’s theย Bombersย taking on theย Piesย in the ANZAC Day clash. Collingwood have won three of the past five contests between the two sides. Taylor Adams is back in for the pies whilst Adam Cooney will miss with a hamstring strain. Despite Collingwood having the better start to the season statistically, Essendon has looked exceptional in the opening rounds of 2015 and their depth through the middle of the ground may be too much for Collingwood. In saying that, the two headed monster of Pendlebury and Swan is bound to cause James Hird fits. Expect a gruelling contest.

Justin’s tip: It will be a physical game and I expect Travis Cloke to be dangerous early, but Essendon will take care of business. 29 points.

  1. Really looking forward to catching this one live ๐Ÿ˜€

Just a question, you normally always back your gut, and I have the VC on Swan, although since it rained quite a bit overnight, I wonder if his score will be affected? That being said Vanders got over 100 in similar conditions last night.

Wonder if I should keep the VC on Swan (T/U) or handpass the VC to Fyfe (T/D) where it would be better conditions at Domain Stadium?

    Cheers community

  2. Really want to trade out Griffen to either Sloane or Lewis as he looks like he’s going to wear the heavy tag each week.
