  1. It’s all on the line here.

This game will determine my mood for the next 6-8 months.

    Win and I’m whistling.

Lose again, and my thoughts of footy will be sadly tainted ..

Back to SC.. with May a late out, I’m still a slight chance to knock off the great bAps to make the Granny in Gunboats league.

Can Freo and the Mighty Donkeys get up on the same day ?

    1. All the best with the Donkey’s, Freo Tragic.

      Your team, not the Dockers!

      Just messing with you.

May the best team wins the Derby and NO injuries.

      Cheers.

      1. Cheers CT.

This SC season has been such a war of attrition.

Thanks for all the updates, how you keep up I don’t know ?

        Go Dockers 😉

    2. Afternoon, fellas.

Best of luck in SC, FT, but we need to roll your Dockers today.

Only chance against the Lions next week would be to come off a huge Derby win.

  2. Freo leading by 5 goals at quarter time! Is adam simpsons job in trouble if they dont make the 8 this year?

    1. It’s over for us. I’m furious watching this.

Been to the top of the mountain but haven’t adapted to where the game is moving or corrected our long standing pressure, tackle and CP issues. Accuracy and I50 efficiency, which used to be our shining lights, have also markedly dropped off.

We will be bottom four next year. Mark my words.

      1. It’s not out of the realm for the Eagles to finish bottom 4 next year GD, for the Weagles supporters though you would want to see a significant shift in game plan and spend the year adapting to a new plan while building some of the young players coming through.

What would you rather, that option above or scrap away for 6 to 10th position again? It’s an interesting question.

I’m the meantime, you are right in this with all the momentum.

  3. Loving the banter between our site stalwarts from the West!

Game really tightening up now too!

I’m sure Wighty and all the others bombers supporters (including me) are all in on the Dockers here. Nothing better than having a finals spot in your own hands rather than worrying about other results next week……

Go Dockers! (Hopefully FT is ok with us jumping on board for one week)….

    1. Jamhed…..I spent the afternoon in the cellar with SOW barracking for Freo. It got a bit tense there for a while, but as soon as we popped the cork on our sixth Grange, Freo lifted.
Actually, I have just woken up…still in the cellar……who opened the other three bottles of Grange ??? SOW…..SOW !!!!!!!!

    1. Yep. Congrats, FT.

Eagles were ass but props for still putting us away with no Fyfe, Brayshaw or Cox.
