With Fremantle coming off their first loss, this is probably not the week Gold Coast wanted to play them; not that there is really a good time to play the Dockers when you are struggling to field a full midfield. Even with Johnson out (replaced by rookie Alex Pearce) and Gold Coast regaining Malceski and a sober Dixon, this game will not be close.
Congratulations to fan favourite Barlow on his 100th game.
Thommo’s tip: Fremantle by 69 (dude).

Going to do my other 2 trades once late changes (if any) are named today, I’ve realized though that I’ll be far too Rd 12 Bye heavy, and likely won’t be able to get 18 on the park next week even with the pending upgrades for next week if I lean towards grabbing Boston and A.Pearce as downgrades.
I might only be able to afford one of them, but what do you guys reckon:
T/U – Grab one of them, then grab a Rd 13 rookie Bye player (Dumont I’ll most likely opt for)
T/D – Still grab them both, good long-term rookie options
NO LATE CHANGES
FINAL INTERCHANGES
Gold Coast: Andrew Boston, Sean Lemmens, Jesse Lonergan
Substitute: Nick Malceski
Fremantle: Tendai Mzungu, David Mundy, Hayden Crozier
Substitute: Nick Suban
Boston’s not sub.
Trade time boys!
With Malceski starting as sub with a 148 BE, he could be $380-$390k by next week. If he comes back well from injury, could be a fallen premium to keep an eye on!
Wow I’m very shocked that there are no late changes by freo
Anyone else got a niggling feeling Fyfe will be subbed out if the Dockers are up by heaps? Slight concern with the C in him.
Lyon will sub him after 3rd qtr when he is on 150 SC points.
I’ll be leaving the C off of Fyfe as I have a bad feeling/ want to go for a point of difference thinking JPK is due for a huge game or either ward or swan
Dear Ross,
I dare you to sub Fyfe
Boston and Pearce on 26 and 27 at quarter time.
My league opponent didn’t trade this round and I brought them both in to make 18. If they both ton up this could be the biggest upset of the year in my league.

Good qtr from Fyfe
Fyfe on 110 at 3 Qtr time 😮
If you put the C on a player with the bye on field you will get the VC score yeah?
So guys, just to make sure I do this correctly, with Fyfe as VC, in order to take his final score for double points (after the game), if I put the C on a BYE player (e.g. Cripps, D.Martin, …), I get his points doubled yes?
