WHERE AND WHEN: Spotless Stadium, Saturday, April 28, 4.35pm AEST
Round six sees the Giants return to their home ground at Spotless Stadium for the first time this season and they’ll be keen to make up for last week’s disappointing draw with St Kilda. Leon Cameron’s men had multiple chances to seal the game in the final term, but let themselves down in front of goal to let two important points get away from them. The Lions made a late run at the Suns to almost steal last week’s match at the Gabba, but while their comeback was a positive, the fact remains that they’re still winless in 2018. Gun forwards Jonathon Patton, Jeremy Cameron and Toby Greene loom as big problems for Brisbane, especially if the Giants’ midfield can get them consistent opportunities inside 50, and the form of veteran Brett Deledio is also a major plus for GWS. Charlie Cameron is a Lion for the Giants to lock down on, with his speed and goalkicking sense always a danger.
