Game Chat – Melbourne vs Fremantle

Written by Huttabito on July 7 2018

WHERE AND WHEN: TIO Stadium (Darwin), Saturday, July 7, 7.10pm ACST

SUMMARY
Melbourne’s season has started to unravel after such a promising start and it will be desperately seeking a win against an injury-hit Fremantle in Darwin. The Demons have lost three games in a row and are in danger of missing the eight should their poor form continue. The Demons’ task will be made easier with Nat Fyfe (hamstring) and Aaron Sandilands (calf) both sidelined by injury. Fremantle is coming off a disappointing loss to Brisbane and despite being without two of its stars, the Dockers will be looking to regroup with Lachie Neale and Michael Walters likely to lead the way. With Fyfe out, it will give youngsters Andrew Brayshaw and Adam Cerra more midfield time which will only benefit the two top prospects in the long run.

  3. Dear max , thankyou for giving me a good captain score. I haven’t done well in that aspect of the game recently.

  4. I didn’t see this game, but did Banfield really tag Hibberd? Not Oliver, or Viney, or even Petracca, but Hibberd?

Ross has clearly given it up for the rest of this season.

    1. Saints take Oliver out of the game and it goes a long way to getting the four points. I sometimes wonder if these coaches actually watch the oppositions last game.
