1EF, 2015, North Melbourne 15.15 (105) d Richmond 14.4 (88) at the MCG
R23, 2015, Richmond 16.12 (108) d North Melbourne 10.7 (67) at Etihad Stadium
R6, 2015, North Melbourne 16.13 (109) d Richmond 10.14 (74) at Blundstone Arena
R12, 2014, North Melbourne 17.14 (116) d Richmond 13.10 (88) at Etihad Stadium

Game notes: The game’s two best key defenders – Robbie Tarrant and Alex Rance – will have crucial roles at either end as the Kangaroos and Tigers lock horns in a season-defining clash for each team. Richmond shook its late-match woes against Essendon on Saturday night to snap a four-match losing slide. But the Tigers will also need to end their North Melbourne hoodoo, which includes seven losses in eight outings, to continue their top-four push. The Roos’ ability to at least break even with Richmond through the midfield will be critical to their chances. Dustin Martin – a North recruiting target – Trent Cotchin and Brandon Ellis were pivotal in the victory over the Bombers. Ben Cunnington had a big last quarter to will North across the line against Carlton, but was otherwise quiet. Whichever Cunnington turns up, Shaun Higgins and captain Jack Ziebell will need to maintain their good form.

Mottsy’s Tip: Tigers by 15 Rawr!

While we do our best to update posts with end of quarter scores, we aren’t always online so if you have access to the scores and see they haven’t gone into the Comments section of this post, the Community would love it if you could help us out.

  7. Rance was hard done by tonight i thought but Goldy beat Nank and deserved the extra points. I have the 3 of them. Sometimes i think it better picking the freeloading outside players that look good when they have the ball than the players that work hard like a Rance. You mentioned Hibberd last week i think who i also have, runs around the outside picking up kicks and scores well. I think these are the players sadly we have to pick.

    1. I told myself to stop complaining about scores , they are what they are,
(that extra bourbon and dry must have got me). Also I don’t mean to
criticise other players scores as the rational me respects anyone who
makes it to AFL level. As a Tiger supporter I wouldn’t want Rance to
      play any other way.
