**SUMMARY**

An inconsistent Power side kick off the first of three-straight prime-time home games with a clash against the reigning premiers. The eighth-placed Power (6-4) have shown glimpses of what many thought they were capable of after an off-season signing spree, but have also been guilty of basic skill errors that have cost them games. Superstar Robbie Gray needs more support from Charlie Dixon, Jack Watts and Chad Wingard in attack. The forwards will also need to keep a tight hold on Tigers’ defensive lynchpin Alex Rance to prevent him from taking easy intercept marks. The Tigers, second on the ladder with a 9-2 record, are absolutely flying. Brownlow Medallist Dustin Martin – who is sidelined with a calf injury – collected the three votes the last time he faced the Power, while Josh Caddy and Shane Edwards are in great form. It’s a great test for the Power to see where they sit against the premiership favourites.

Last chance to ditch Spudin Martin and his 85 over 7 games before his 3 weeks holidays.

I did…welcome three bye games Ollie !!!

Wines playing for his next contract. He could go big over the next few weeks to try and maximise it.

Masterstroke !!!

I did for Danger (and brought Walters in for Darling).

No brainer.

Martin to Dangerfield. Simples.

Me too. It also means I don’t have to give the VC to Tim Kelly anymore!

I’ve done the same.

Yep, swapped him for josh kelly, an easy upgrade from holman if he starts to go off again post his holiday!!!

Does anyone know when the final teams for Monday are announced?

Ended up going Westhoff over Gray

Robbie Gray…2 handballs and one tackle for 20 points (DT 8 points)

Westhoff…9 kicks, 2 handballs, 1 tackle, 1 goal, 1 behind, 2 frees for (3 clangers and 27% disposal eff is killing him) for 37 points

Pretty happy so far, but what could have been from Westy that quarter

Gray…1 kick, 5 handballs, 1 tackle @66% – 46 points

Westhoff…13 kicks, 6 handballs, 1 tackle, 1 contested mark, 3 goals @37% – 67 points

Gray scoring extremely well for his possession count

Grays playing about as well as you can without getting possessions, if that makes sense! Quite frustrating to see the best midfielder on the ground spending all his time in the forward pocket

I’m tipping there might be a few 1%ers in there for Gray

Hoff coming to my team next week

Robby on 40 from touches. Must be tackling everyone?

Hey AFL recruiters – Anthony Miles doesn’t belong in the VFL. Do something about it.

No Dusty, no Richmond? 😛

I’m actually surprised how much the tigers get away with shoveling a ball out to a team mate in a tackle.

Richmond must be the least intimidating reigning premiers in recent memory.

Doggies last year?

That’s a terrible comment look at last week. Then against collingwood and melbourne. There pressure is elite just couldn’t capitalize

Not saying they’re not a good side, but in previous seasons, in you came up against the Hawks, Cats or Swans you were pretty much screwed. But reckon there’s ten other teams that would fancy their chances against the Tigers. They just don’t have that fear factor.

Fair point about Dogs.

They’re pretty intimidating at the G, anywhere else and I agree with you.
