Game Chat – Richmond v St Kilda

Written by Motts on October 9 2020

Where and when: Carrara, 7:50pm (AEST)

Last time they met: R4, 2020 on June 27.  St Kilda 15.3 (93) DEF Richmond 10.7 (67) at Marvel (remember when they used to play footy in Melbourne?)

Form: Richmond: L (BRI), W, W, W, W. St Kilda: W, W, L (WCE), W, L (MEL).

Match Preview: Richmond requested the match be moved to Metricon which is only a few hundred metres from their base on the Gold Coast but also where they haven’t lost a match this year. Lynch will return for the Tiges whilst the Saints will lose Ryder (injury), Long (suspension) and Carlisle (returning home for the birth of his child). The Tigers go into the match strong favourites with good reason – their form has been great, they’ve got the talent, and they’ve got the finals experience.

Motts Watch: I say this every time Richmond plays but I just love watching the Dusty go about it. Interesting side fact: When he’s in Melbourne, Dusty gets his morning cup of joe at the same cafe I do.
Mottsy’s Tip: 3 out of 4 games last week were won by the underdog. I want the Saints to win but it’s simply not going to happen tonight. Tigers by 25.

    1. I tipped 3 winners last week and the only one that counted I got wrong with my Eagles losing.
I agree with Motts about the Saints as I would love them to win.. but with all their outs Tigers look too good.
      Tigers by 30 points.

  1. Tom Lynch giving himself another bad look during this game. Wouldn’t want him on my team no matter how much skill he has, just no respect for him
