Match Preview: The Saints have been disappointing in 2021 and need to start winning games against teams lower on the ladder. Win or lose, they are unlikely to feature in the finals in 2021, but at least it eases the pressure for a week.
While St Kilda have surprised us with their lacklustre 2021, Adelaide have surprised us with how much they have improved. They are competitive most weeks and their kids show definite promise. The Saints might just sneak the win past the Crows, but it seems likely that the Crows list has the most promise.

If your other bench player isn’t playing, chuck him on for your worst onfield player. If your other bench player IS playing, you’re stuffed. Unless you have DPP things you can flick around
Kept Highmore – was trading him next week. Also VC’d Steele. And traded in Titch and Newcombe – feeling good about now but it never lasts…team as it stands for next week, I have 13 warm bodies.

Got to say, that was just such poor negative play and coaching by the Saints … they tried to defend and close that down and had no one up the ground to kick it to and push the ball forwards … they just kept inviting Crows back for that whole last quarter … terrible negative coaching and tactics …
Figured this would be a pretty quiet one for me – with Laird and Walker, plus a couple rookies that have been on the fringe. Absolutely floored by 220 points from Highmore and Thilthorpe! Now I need to find a way to hold them through the round 14 mega-bye.
