Game Chat – Western Bulldogs v Carlton

Written by Thommo on July 4 2015

Can the Blues make it 3 in-a-row?

The Bulldogs fell over the line against the Saints last week and they need to keep winning to keep their spot in the top 8. Carlton has played tough and consistent footy for 4 straight weeks now and will make the Doggies fight for a win.

This game will be tight but the Doggies will want to celebrate Matthew Boyd’s 250th in style.

For those who have waited patiently for him, Caleb Daniel finally debuts this week.

Thommo’s tip: Western Bulldogs by 10 points.

  4. FULL TIME

    DOGS 64 vs BLUES 53

Toby McLean may have a serious shoulder injury…….Dahlhaus copped a corkie in the last few seconds…….Cripps didn’t play much in the last qtr (ankle)…….keep an eye on them during the week! Caleb Daniel with 63 in a half of footy. Don’t think he’ll be wearing the vest anytime soon…….

  5. Ahhhh FFS … sums up the SC year … brought mclean in as thought he looked promising, would hold his place and made some dollars … and the other dogs scorers very poor (dahlhaus, bonts … )

  6. Mixed results in this game for me SC wise, with Cripps going well, will cut the youngster a break since he had an injury early that carried over to the end of the game, while Dahlhaus was MIA, and Hamling was alright. Speaking of Hamling:

    T/U – Bank Hamling’s 61
T/D – Take a punt with A.Pearce vs the Lions

I’m pretty inclined to take the points at this stage.
