Game Chat – Western Bulldogs vs North Melbourne

Written by Thommo on July 4 2020

Where and when: Marvel Stadium, US Independence Day at 7:40pm AEST

Last time they met: Rd 10, 2019: North Melbourne 18.7 (115) def Western Bulldogs 13.12 (90) at Marvel Stadium.

What it means for the Bulldogs: Despite the loss of Josh Dunkley, the Bulldogs continued their winnings ways against the Swans last week. With the Melbourne teams about to head to interstate hubs, the Dogs will want to chalk up a third victory before relocating for who knows how long.

What it means for North: They started the season well but North have fallen in a small hole in the last two weeks losing to Sydney and the Hawks (just). Like the Dogs, a loss today will mean they fall off the pace with a tough run of matches to come.

Thommo’s Watch: I have neither in my Supercoach team but I am interested to see how the improving Tim English against the in-form Goldstein.

Thommo’s Tip: Bulldogs by 10 points.

    1. Same here. Got 2 tons sitting on the bench. Any chance he might be a late out with that injured ankle?

    1. Macrae is no longer top 6 material this year . He may still be top 10 but very disappointed with his performance…
