5 rounds in, my model hasn’t got everything right, but it’s been close to the money far more often than not so far, so that’s a promising sign. It has clearly underestimated Cripps and Billings, though – and I suspect it will have overestimated Oliver, as it has done on previous seasons’ data (it doesn’t matter what tweaks I make… it just keeps giving him votes that the umpires didn’t).
I only just realised that Hodge, Lewis & Roughead all retired this year. Reckon Buddy feels a bit left out? Chained to playing by his ridiculously long contract?
Not sure about the Tigers game, I was more referring to Rounds 1-5 or 6 when Neale dominated. A couple more early votes would have made it interesting. I did predict Fyfe to win though…
Note for next year, HBGs who don’t sook when tagged, or throw tantrums when things don’t go their way when receiving. Hmmmm eg. Bob Skilton, hah…..things haven’t changed…..The Fairest and Best…..LOL
The amount of chicks wearing splits thrusting one leg forward on the red carpet is really bothering me.
Lmao, Motts. So true, always in gladiator stance.
What i don’t get is why is Nadia bartel at the Brownlow?
Channel 7 are thrusting her down our throats.
If anyone is interested in my model’s predictions (or wants to follow along at home to see what it gets right or wrong):

Sorry that the output isn’t very pretty!
Go Cripps!

Think i am old fashioned but botox and make up aren’t that appealing, looks like jimmy has taken up with a clone, she will probably host next year.

But the Swans say the Buddy trade was a huge win for Sydney!
When you can be replaced by Joe Daniher, who only plays 12 games a year, you’re not really that good.
Fyfe was a deserving winner but the margin was too large. A few surprising 3 voters.
Neale was screwed over early and Grundy unlucky in a few games too.
Neale got 3 in last game losing to tigers ,51 touches but zorko was more effective with 25 odd , in the eye of the beholder!

I think the bookies’ entry might be hard to beat this year – by my count, it picked up 624 of a possible 629 votes.
I just had a look – it depends if you count your 3 man West Coast entry!
I’m 15 points off a perfect score in Brownlow comp. Probably close but no cigar.
