Gerald Ugle – Greater Western Sydney Giants

Written by Duck on March 13 2011

It was a meeting of 2 up and coming sportsmen last night, 1 in the field of lawn bowls and the other AFL.

On the back of a great div 3 win over Oakbank i was celebrating in true bowler style in the front bar of the local when in walked Gerald Ugle. Gerald is a cousin of Stephen and Josh Hill who’s uncle Kevin Hillย i know and drink with regularly.

The Greater Western Sydney GIANTS headed to the Barossa Valleyย yesterday to take onย the Power in their final NAB Challenge match of 2011. In the heat of the South Australian sun, the young GIANTS squad again showed that they were a determined and courageous side.

Ugle had a good game from all reports and is set to be a star in the making, keep and eye out for him when you’re picking your team next year.

1 of these sportsmen had an 11pm curfew to abide by and 1 didn’t, you decide.

  2. Hey Duck, funny thing is that it comes up sideways on the iPhone, and then I turn the phone sideways for a better look, and guess what? The phone auto-corrects and spins it sideways again. That’s technology for ya!
